So a vertical vice worked better for me, different strain of flower again and the oil was a darker colour from the start of production, maybe a little too much heat but much better results. So thing's I've noticed so far. . Cheap vices are not a worthwhile investment but if I was to go again I...

Chefs torches you can get for like 10-20$ here, so that is a big difference to the blazer at around $100. I do agree with you about investing in good tools, buying cheap is often a false economy but in this case at $100 it's way too much. I don't think fuel is cheaper than with you but I could...

Exactly and when you add conversion rate that's twice the price you pay in America. I did look at one but at that price not a chance, especially as I only need it for heating the slug. They call it rip off britain for a reason.

Most of this has been hit and miss for me, I didn't know enough about torches. One thing to look at though, which I didn't, is if your torch works at any angle as some only like being upright. Found this out today while trying to find a comfortable position for the torch.

I tried a triple just to see and the length of time was quite a shock, I expected it to be closer to the minute mark, it was nearer 2:30 for me. As for smaller torches I wouldn't like to have them on for that length of time, some of them get damn hot after 30 seconds.

You're only getting 4 4 minute sessions ? :( I get 6 and more if I do back to back. You do just max temperature or stepping ?

People buying aluminium inserts for more conduction is because they should of bought a hybrid unit in the first place, simple as that. A lot went in thinking it would give the same hits as a full conduction unit that had been cooking for 3 minutes. Others were put off by the low battery...

I followed the videos :rofl:the large hole is at the bottom where the vice plate is. The sleeve and rod go in the other end. I have noticed it in the videos too, the chamber moves off the plate near the end of the squish, with me though I was getting flower pushing out.

I was using a large plate to hold it, ditched the small coin idea after a couple of dry runs. What I'm noticing though is, on the last bit of the squish, the barrel moves back slightly and flower is pushing out at the bottom. As for the first go oil it was done, I had given it two heat cycles...

Managed to get two test runs in today. First go was more to get the temperature down, got a small ring around the slug so I know it works, slight material escape at the end seemed to spoil it and not much return. Reloaded the same material to retry, overheated and got dark oil. Complete fail...

    Boundless CFV

Yes just saw it, 50% off for black friday. Stock clearing maybe as that is cheaper than Boundless with 25% off for Friday. Those are special event sales though and not a standard price drop. Quite a bargain at that price.

No idea where I am currently on the list, but it will be a year next week. Still I'm in no rush as I know about real life issues.

The wait list isn't short, I'm looking at a year wait for mine soon. Nick has illness though and it was expected to have an unspecified wait.

Convection isn't for everyone, you get loads of complaints over people not knowing how to use them properly. For info I get proper hits from the start at 360 even, never thought about the metal ring as for me it is not needed. I have two CFV's and both are the same performance. You might be...

    Discontinued Zion vaporizer

It's the same issue I had with mine, the amount of power needed to get extraction meant they were draining so quickly. And the recent statements about not being able to overpower the heater, well I could feel the temperature drop to nothing with a medium strong pull. So glad it's back with Ryan...

Had mine today but typically the A**holes at Amazon didn't send my gas, should of been with me Fri/Sat and still wasn't even posted last night. So it's caused a delay to my testing. For the vice - the gap in the middle of mine is perfect for putting the paper through and lining up there, means...

That's supposed to be something like 2600 degrees compared to the lower 1300 torches I think. I don't know enough about them though, I've only got a burner torch that fits on gas canisters. I was hoping it would be enough.

I've had great experiences with thehedonistclub.co.uk/ and www.vaposhop.com/ . My Vapefiend experiences haven't been as good as some other members, not bad as such but not a company I use anymore.

Got to ask is that an Imperial or Metric Banana you are using as a measure ? Flame length would be a great but maybe a ruler would be a better guide . Nice light colour on that squish too.
