    The Lotus Vaporizer

That piece looks to have a 14mm male joint... You'd need a 14mm female to female adapter to use it. Ideally you want a 14mm female joint for the WPA.

Your temp will seem higher (so you'd have to turn it down) due to the reduced airflow through your packed ground herb, which has slowed down the movement of hot air, making the air hotter (relatively). Dunno about your disappearing herb, maybe just that it's so finely ground that it shrinks to...

I'll buy a high temp cap for sure, but have no problems with the current one (and I have the old ver with grooves on the hot plate - still going strong) for hash at least. I'll admit I have little to no experience with oils/shatter/wax etc, but the Lotus is my favourite vape for bubble hash...

I pop my thumb over the bowl, and stir at an angle through the gap between thumb and bowl. No spillage

This is great  I'll probably order one if you ship to the UK. How about a version with a tamper on one end and a 2" pointy stirrer/poker on the other. This would be long enough to adjust the screen in an adjust a bowl gong from both ends. I have a "clip removal tool" from Ed's TNT with a...

I would say grinding it. I find that too small a chunk of bud doesn't work as well as a bigger one (prob too much air getting around and not through it), where a small amount ground up works well. Having said that I do like to stick a decent size chunk in there from time to time. First hits a...

My experience exactly... I use my nano pretty much exclusively through water and never dry, and my Lotus (with long aluminium stem) is my preferred vape for dry and any hash at all  On the subject of torch lighters, I found the Honest excellent and very reliable. So much so that I bought...

That's confidence in a well made product I guess. Don't see too many complaints about the nano... Mainly about the glass accessories ;) Sounds like you got a 14mm gong and not an 18mm one. A cheap 14mm - 18mm adapter will put that right, or I'm sure Andy'll send you the right one...

I leave my dial at 6.5 (or close enough) pretty much all the time and just turn it on at the wall. It sometimes goes to 10 for a 5 min pre-heat, but never to 0. Had mine for 6-7 months now doing this... Hadn't really thought that it might be bad practice :hmm:

@ctxgooner your nano is stunning. Absolutely love the pits in the wood, my Amboyna burl has one or two but not half as nice as those in yours... It's a beauty for sure

^^* that looks pretty much like my standard gong set up. Deep screen and a decent loads worth in there. I (very lightly) tamp the load to half an inch below the rim of the gong, which leaves about 2-3 mm gap between the heater and load when the nano is inserted. This "half inch from top of...

@$un I waited four weeks for mine, but that was an exotic "supply your own wood" order and shipped to the UK. I think that's pretty fast  Who knows but Andy how busy he is, why not PM him @ACE OF VAPE or just be patient... It will take as long as it takes I guess. And ffs make your peace...

What am I working on tonight in the Vapor Lab?

They're (all) fantastic. Please keep the thread updated a bit more and let us see how you get on with the piece you've just started. Do you have any other websites/Instagram pages with your art on?? Stunning.

I noticed a slight "fresh cut wood" aroma for the first few goes too when I got my natural cap. Like @Puffers after a only a few loads that was gone and had nothing since but the taste of whatever I put in the bowl

Wow, that's stunning  I thought veins and capillaries. Like circulatory system stuff. Truly beautiful. Been a bit lazy keeping up with @Snappo 's thread. Maybe I should keep on top of it more ;) Although I have a good idea what I fancy for my next one :brow: Edit, just to add that I...

@biohacker I mentioned the Hi only due to the long waiting list you have to be on, and patient with, while your name gets to the top of the list. Poor attempt at humour early in the morning. Not knocking Alan or the Hi. Have never tried one, but would love to. I'm sure it is fantastic

So you actually have an adjust a bowl gong to use while you're waiting..? I thought you couldn't use it at all (obviously skim read your posts earlier)... Patience is a virtue they say, they have been on a skeleton staff while Andy has been away for a week of your two. I kind of see it if you...
