Proper ignition has never been a problem for me - I don't think it failed to ignite even once. Never had trouble filling it either, and I've never owned butane lighters before. Seems like you should be able to tell immediately if you have ignition or not - there's a "roar" to the flame that...

The stem getting surprisingly hot was how I broke my first stem (held it to unlock it, then, as they say, dropped it like it's hot.). I guess because the glass is thinner it gets hot quicker? On the flip side that should also mean it cools down faster... edit: I like to think the stem breaking...

I wasn't comparing it to a lightbulb at all - sorry if it came across that way. I was just saying lightbulbs were the only thing I could think of that's thinner than the hammer stems. I'm not trying to make a big deal out of it - it's just something that really stood out for me in an otherwise...

The stems are 1mm thick vs the solo's 1.5mm (for further comparison, new nano stems are around 2.75mm thick).

Wow, is the restriction really coming from the stem? Do you notice a difference between using the adapter and the stem? I have the LSV too, and that thing is basically wide open. If using the wpa means I can get something similar, I think I'll grow to like the Hammer even more.

Just received my Hammer + additional stems. Like everyone else mentioned, it is smaller than I expected (...that's what she said?). Let's get the bad stuff out of the way first: The stems are made from really thin glass - I'm not sure I've even seen anything made from glass that thin before...

Everything should be included - Andy probably just didn't include it in the description. It wouldn't make sense for them to not be. In addition to the stem and e-pic, you also get a cloth bag and stickers.

Instead of the crappy hardware store nail, they should get a custom stainless one made that's a stirrer on one side, and a tamper/screen setter on the other.

There is draw restriction though - I think that's something this thread has glossed over. I'm not saying that's good or bad - it could just as well be a design intent so that the nano produces thicker hits. After all, most people don't mind it on the solo, which is much more restricted. The draw...
