as for differnece in flavor id say the jhook and alumnium stem are pretty equal since i have the short stem and it may be a little harsher but really i havent noticed a huge difference. obviously glass is usually better but im not super picky about the taste as long as im tasting my sweet...

dont worry with a little practice on the og stem you wont need a window. I was lucky enough to start of with that package so i didnt get a jhook till a little while later. with the aluminum stem its just all feel, but really if you use the exact same technique and timing it shouldnt give you any...
