at first it's hands in pockets warm, but it does creep into being a good bit toastier than that after the 1 hour mark. combine that with eczema and I'm stuck living with micro cuts all over where the handle meets my hand. The handle is admittedly better than having no handle, but the design is...

update on this solution: it didn't help, because burlap is very rough on the skin so it didn't help fix what I'm beginning to think is eczema. I took off the burlap, and the regular handle is also bad. It gets "hands in your pockets" warm, which is enough to destroy my hand apparently. Will be...

    Brilliant Cut Grinder

update: I still haven't tried it lol, I'm holding off until my grinder is dirty enough to annoy me, and this grinder is very good at not needing to be cleaned very often

ISO is very tough to get a hold of right now, due to the pandemic. If you're using ISO, there's a decent chance it's not food grade, in which case there are impurities in the ISO that I would never want up in my grinder, even after rinsing. Boiling it does an ok job if I also boil w/ dish soap...

I completely disagree, once you torch stuff like this you can rinse away the rest w/ water. I am worried I'd screw up the magnet if I torched it, but otherwise I wish I could.

this might sound dumb, but it's a surprisingly easy way to clean stuff, so I thought I'd ask: Can the BCG be safely cleaned using a torch? You'd have to remove the plastic buffer at the least, but I'm curious how the aluminum would take it. Hoping that someday BCG makes a titanium model

is it safe to clean the titanium screens with a torch? Or could it damage the screen in a way that might be bad? It seems to be the only way I'm able to fully clean the screens once they get to a certain point

Thought I'd share my favorite glass setup. I'm not sure if it's my endgame choice but I do like it, and it uses as little water as I'm comfortable with. I'm considering whether the Infinity piece from MJarsenal will be enough on its own, that'll be my next trial/error purchase sometime this...

just a little update, I ordered Jute (burlap) webbing, and it's all set! the last layer is held together with soft velcro straps, but the bulk of it is held together tightly by zip ties.

mine is a tad bit further out so it should be in better shape as far as heat goes:

675 at the end of my sesh. it does get warm enough that it feels uncomfortable to hold so hopefully it isn't some other issue w/ the nail, I got it just a couple months ago. thinking of wrapping the handle in cotton webbing

it was installed by NewVape, it's possible they goofed up but idk. It gets very warm but not too hot to touch. that looks cool, although idk if it will help all that much w/ the heat situation. I'll look into some thicker leather straps I can wrap around it though, thanks!

I have the NV hempwick enail handle, and I am looking for something to wrap around the handle. This winter my right hand is extremely cracked b/c the enail handle is too hot. any recommendations? It would be cool to see 3rd party stuff too. Thanks

I've been using my weedeater for a couple days, and I love it! I'm learning that a very slow draw speed can make finding the right temperature difficult though. Does this bud look burnt? had it set to 600 is there such a thing as too slow of a draw speed? Thanks

Thank you so much! Extremely informative. With the weedeater, I've seen people using temps anywhere from 580 to 670, but I'm thinking of starting at 570 just to get to know it at its lowest. Hopefully it arrives in the mail tomorrow!!

any reason I couldn't use a shot glass as a carb cap for my weedeater, aside from potentially burning myself? has anybody else here improvised their own? thanks!

Can anybody explain what this is? https://www.newvape.com/collections/clearance/products/flowerpot-14-18mm-female-bowl-with-handle I'm guessing it's basically a substitute for the 14mm female post combined with a shovelhead bowl? and strangely also compatible w/ 18mm? Thanks

    Preserving Terpenes?

Thank you for clearing this up!! I also am very glad you got me thinking about using ice, I'll probably use the Ursa as my daily driver but now I gotta look around for a mini ice catcher to try that out!
