rhythm method it is! I figured as much. I typically load a duggout bats worth in my Underdog and run it till there is no more vapor. With the Solo, it just falls right out and a second screen seems like a hassle. It stays if I use a little more and pack it in there tight against the screen...

Newbie question...I have searched and did not have much luck. It seems that when you pack very small amounts, it often falls into the heat core easily without a 2nd screen. If I pack a fuller bowl so that it stays in place and only want a few drags, what is the best way to keep from wasting...

just got my unit and man this thing is small :o (in a good way)! I have read how surprised people were at unboxing and thought I was prepared, but I was still shocked... I have read different opinions but hope to get a concrete answer on a few battery questions; 1) Do I need to fully charge...

Mine is en-route from PIU. Yesterday the tracking said delivery today  quick as I ordered it Monday. Checked the tracking today to confirm and it said tomorrow  . Just checkd again (OCD much?) and it says "out for delivery" so it's on! Hope to see it in the mail when I...

Gotcha... I guess it would require a whole new design. May be worth Ed's time, may not. If it was an option, I would love to try it out since you could clean it, have a glass air path, and it would be durable.

Perhaps Stu could chime in? He is active in both forums it seems... Looking at his pic on page 173 of the UD thread, there is only a small tip of exposed glass for the mouthpiece and it works with 14mm and 18mm joints due to the tapered cut. The fragile glass is a concern for me until I get a...

Ed's stems sound sweet! Could be the on the go solution for those weary of traveling with fragile exposed glass. Thinking about it, I had a thought. Dave over at Underdog has a stem that has exotic wood on the outside, with a glass air-path. If Ed could throw a glass tube in the middle of his...

Good to know Zangano! Thanks. I have a car inverter and will plan to just use that... Imagine I will be using my UD at home still when being tethered to a cord is a non issue, but good to know that the PA is worth it.

Just ordered one of these and can't wait till it gets here! Is there a less expensive (Amazon or eBay) car charger that is confirmed to charge the unit other than the "official" $20 one? Thanks!

Greetings all! I am trying to decide if I should get one of these or if I just have VAS... Currently I have an Underdog that rocks at home and a MFLB that is very stealthy on the go. Was considering getting one of these for a heavy hitting on the go, but not sure how "portable" it is (the...

Vaporization: when to stop inhaling the vapor ?

I use a beaker with an Underdog. When I no longer see vapor in the tube, it's done. Usually about coffee bean color. I have recently started running my MFLB ABV through the UD and getting a solid whitewall for a hit or 2 per stem. It always amazes me how much you can stretch your material...

    Underdog Log Vapes

So glad to see the materials thread come around... 'twas getting HOT in there! :bang: I only ever get positive vibes on this thread. I have never heard anyone on this thread say they don't like their UD or it's performance. Nor has anyone ever had an issue with Dave or his service to my...

    Adhesives, Insulation and Vape Safety

I am very pleased with what I have read today and just want to say that I think this is a great community. Not to be a UD fanboy, but I love my twig. Even more, I love Dave's response. Here is a guy who (while getting flame sprayed) generates a new product that addresses all material concerns...

Ditto on all the props to Dave. Must have been tough not to loose your cool... Handed lemons, made lemonade. Excellent work with the new r&d stuff and, quite frankly, the best possible response to the concerns in the materials thread. Way to take "high" road! My Maple Twig works like a champ...

    Underdog Log Vapes

Going camping this weekend and had a question  ... How well do you think these would run off of a small generator? Would love to show it off and possibly get some other friends in the pound :dog: , but I am afraid of lackluster performance without a proper wall plug. Anyone try it? I do...

    Underdog Log Vapes

I agree. I was very impressed by all the cool woods, but being budget minded presently, I opted for one that was less exotic. I have always liked maple, so it seemed like a good choice...and it was! It is a work of art and much more detailed in person then on the website. Love it!
