    Underdog Log Vapes

Might have been my post #4476. Honestly, I can't think of a better tool than a common nail! It is cheap and common, stainless steel so it is safe, perfect size head for packing, firm for stirring, it will never wear out, and if I loose it, I have hundreds more! After I cash out a...

    Underdog Log Vapes

Did I read earlier that Dave has changed the thick silicone stem material in the past few months to a product that is stiffer and holds on better to the Dog? Also, on his website the silicone tubing for $3.99, is that per foot (not mentioned on website)? Are the 25 count screen pack all 0.5" if...

    Underdog Log Vapes

A few times I have gone to use my Dog, only to find it cold :\, I saw where you suggested bending a pin deep in the male end (inside the Dog, right?) back to tighten the connection. Any chance to see a pic of that? With mine it will look like it is all the way in, but a slight push (less than...

    Arizer Solo

Question.... If you were shopping with portability as the main factor and only planning to buy one of the upgraded stems would you get; the GONG because it is small and possibly less fragile (is it thicker?) or... one of Ed's because it won't ever break (but is bigger as a trade off)? Those...

Vaporizer with capacity between Volcano and Solo?

In my experience, log vapes are the best at conservation. I got a Solo a few weeks ago and love the portability of it, but it seems wasteful compared to my UD. With the UD, I can put a dugout bat size load and fill my 12" beaker 3-4 times. I don't mind the "wasteful" (by comparison) nature of...

    Why Do <YOU> Get Vaped?

This has been a cool thread to read. So many different reason, so many people who share the same reasons. Reinforces the "community feel" we have here at FC. Com busted for 20 years or so starting around age 16. Most of the time a bat rip here and there (more in college, as seems...

    Underdog Log Vapes

I did the same as HES (using the MFLB/WPA glass). The airpath of the glass is nice and open with that design. I cut a thick stem down to about 2", put a screen in it, let the draw end of it on the heatport for a minute and then stretch it over that glass connector. If you wanted to remove...

    Underdog Log Vapes

If you have the MFLB WPA, you can pop the ground glass part out (small dot of glue holding it in there), stretch a thick silicone stem (mine stem is only about 2" long) around it, and BAM! With the wider opening on that glass piece, there is no air flow restriction. :science:

    Underdog Log Vapes

Since I got it in May it has run 24/7 except for maybe a week when I was on vacation. It, quite simply, kicks ass! Ready when I am. No fuss. Load a stem, put it on the UD, attach the GonG end to the beaker, and away I go. I can have a session in under a minute from set up to break...

    Underdog Log Vapes

I keep mine about 3/4 of an inch from the end of the tube. I suck a "duggout/bat" size load in there by using the stem like a straw (so a pretty small amount). I tamp it in with the back of a nail and stir with the nail point after the 2nd or 3rd rip. Usually get 3-4 solid foggy beaker loads...

    Best vaporizer for snowboarding?

In the past, I have used my MFLB on the slopes with great success. That said, it lacks in some respects that I am sure we could debate ad infinitum . While cold weather is hard on batts, I think the use of the box is harder on them. Those batteries, simply put, get abused and require...

    Best vaporizer for snowboarding?

If you want something that is small and quick like the MFLB, the PAX ($250) is getting great reviews. If you plan to pull off to the side of the trail (or have long lift rides) to have a sit down sesh, a Solo ($160) would work if you got one of ED's wooden stems or a case for the glass stems...

Discontinued The Inhalater INH004 Phytotherapeutic Rechargeable Portable Vaporizer

Ahh... Thanks! I have some tile cutting scissors that should do the job and a 14mm bowl that came with my beaker that I will never use because..."FUCK COMBUSTION!" Hope it works!

    Underdog Log Vapes

The new dogs look great! If only money grew on trees... I have been using my UD in the kitchen the past few days. It just looks so nice on the counter. I even used the diffuser! Who knew!?!? Smells great and is totally discreet and beautiful. Unfortunately, with young...

    solo or thermovape?

I got a Solo from PIU a few weeks ago and it is great! The grinder they sent me was a decent 2 piece, not the advertised 4 piece. I sent an email and now have my 4 piece on the way and get to keep the 2 piece! I have never used a Space Case, so not sure what the advantage to a higher end...

Ok I've done my research, Ive nailed my vape choices to these...

Hard to answer without knowing more about your personal scenario. Stealth/portability, cost, consumption/conservation, use in groups, etc all impact the choice. If you could rank these variables in terms of personal importance that would help greatly. Maybe give a total price range as it may...

    Arizer Solo

For me, it is a great combination/middle ground. MFLB for stealth, UD for home and the solo for a portable heavy hitter. I went blueberry picking yesterday at a commercial farm. Was able to take huge rips with the Solo and no one around was the wiser. I ca throw a hot stem in my case with a...

    Arizer Solo

Really loving my Solo now that I have had a chance to get comfortable with it. Works like a champ and the battery life is quite impressive(M1D if that matters). Couple of HOT topic questions; I put those MFLB battery caps on because I never finish a whole stem at once. I put them on while it...
