As other have mentioned before on this thread, I think the Pinnacle hydro tube is the perfect answer for a portable water option for the Ascent. It should work 100% perfectly with the 14mm straight water adapter, and it maintains the integrity of the all-glass pathway. It's a little spendy, but...

thanks for the confirmation on that. so after a while of hitting on one bowl without stirring, the bowl gets fully cashed? You don't get any additional vapor at all from stirring toward the end of it's life? that's awesome.

One thing i'm curious about is whether the Ascent really does heat the entire bowl evenly without needing to stir. I'm finding it a little hard to believe that I wouldn't need to stir at least once to get all the vapor. Can anyone confirm whether this is true or not?
