Actually, the GonG straight adapter is pretty thick, and other than it being too long, I don't worry about it cracking or snapping at all.

I don't have a carbide drill bit or a butane torch, but i'll look into the technique you're talking about, and see if I can work something out. thanks, it would be a great set-up if just a little shorter.

It fits nice and snug, it's just that the adapter is a little long. It feels stable, but I wouldn't want to lie it down or turn it sideways, cause the water might leak, and the adapter might slip out. I have a friend who blows glass, and i'm gonna see if he can shorten it up for me.

Unfortunately, that's how long it is..it's pushed all the way in. I would have like it a little shorter, but it still works really well. Still fairly portable this way too.

Here's my current setup. Great flavor, and very smooth with the bubbler.

I edited this post to show that they did indeed help me with this problem. I like the size. It's not that bulky really, it feels pretty thin.

Actually what I came to realize is that it whistles when it's not hot, as soon as it gets above 260 or so, it goes away.. I'm not a strong drawer, i'm all about slow and steady.

by the way..is anybody actually able to track their package yet? It doesn't say anywhere on my order which company is shipping it. I tried finding it on usps, fedex, and ups, but it's not listed on any of them yet.

I received a tracking number as well, and it says (free shipping) after it. I do hope they honor their overnight promise to pre-sales...I'm not gonna get too worked up about it, though..i'm just happy something is happening.

you could probably do that as well with your pinky finger I imagine..unless the bowl was too hot.

I 100% agree. Most of us would be fine with the waiting if we weren't ALSO screaming at a brick wall to get some assurances that we will eventually see the product. It's starting to seem like the owner of Organicix took all of our money and is hiding out on some tropical secluded beach.
