^^ Ok, I thought he was saying the PA itself caused the depletion. but I get it the battery will slowly deplete, even when not in use...sorta like the battery for my cordless power drill, etc

Can you just remove the battery and use it with the PA. Then just put the battery back in when ready to go portable without depleting battery?

from what I understand that power adapter is like a pass-through...allows the unit to run strictly off the power adapter. Does not charge or deplete battery....i may be wrong though
