The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Isn't that the right way to do it? That is how mine came installed and early on Brenyo was saying it is the most secure way for the screen to sit though I haven't read recent instructions in case that has changed.

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

That could be possible on the Temptest if there was an issue with any orings. One of mine was messed up when sliding on so that it made me think the oven stem was bent earlier this year. I used to use a tiny bit of saliva to lubricate but I use an absolutely miniscule amount of the wax that...

With this picture I can see that it is the right depth. I dunno if this is how you had it before but I would expect it to perform more or less "normal" at this depth. I checked back through your comment history in here and I see you did talk about the balls but I didn't see if you ever took...

I do I am pretty lost on what the problem could be... I don't recall seeing in your other posts so forgive me if I missed this being discussed... have you taken the balls out to clean them? Any reclaim buildup in there could cause some issues like what you are talking about. Also, with the...

Looking at the videos you posted and the discoloration of the anodizing closest to the bowl and oven, it seems like your adapter is set at least a centimeter too deep. Can you post a picture of the bottom of the adapter on your wand? All the restriction in the world should be at your disposal...

Hey @Brenyo I remember you said you were working on something like an insert months back for concentrates. Did that ever progress or did you end up scrapping it? I thought my rayon fiber would be fine but seeing that it starts to offgas bad stuff at 200C/392F I think I want to look for a...

I have not but I imagine it's similar to other equipment I've cleaned with a coating. Usually it's fine unless there's damage to a coating (scratches or chips) where the microbubbles can start working their way under. To counter this you can set it to a gentle intensity, no added heat, and only...

    Huni Badger Pro

Quick update... I've been using the HB Pro for a little over a week and have to say the medium setting is just about perfect. It doesn't make a mess like the low temp tip could on the og Badger, and doesn't burn the crap out of the concentrate so you get a solid hit of flavor smashing into your...

Yeah 100% you can. The only side effects I've really noticed are some condensation in the glass adapter which is easily cleaned away. It can sound like tiny little firecrackers going off when burning away the remaining moisture but that's expected.

This is what I do when I don't use the ultrasonic cleaner. If anyone uses an ultrasonic I know it's been pointed out a few times but make sure you put the ISO and parts into a container like a glass jar or Ziploc bag to submerge in whatever fluid you are using in the tank. 99% alcohol in the...

@Brenyo you have me curious now with comments on a stainless version (Ti all the way for me) and I can't help but ask if you are willing to share any details on how many you've sold? If not, I totally understand but I'm curious how wide of an audience found the last device they need 😉

I love Stashlogix but I have bought a few SafeDelux bags because they were so much cheaper and ($<20 for the large bag) and on lightning deal I figured why not? All of them have performed as well if not better than my Stashlogix bags. The biggest difference with the larger sizes is they aren't...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

I have never had a heat problem with the Ti stem heading into 9 months with it. It got pretty warm when I did multiple bowls back to back but never what I would consider hot and certainly not too hot. Heat tolerance is relative, of course, but I think most won't have an issue with it even for...

Loving seeing so many people getting their hands on what they wanted originally and not having to settle for another color or wait. It was a while to get to a full (preorder) release but, as my review reinforces, the best things come with patience! I'm sure some of you will be disappointed if...

    Huni Badger Pro

Well... I dropped my OG huni badger into the toilet while trying to do a stealth session and broke my only hi temp tip in addition to submerging the device with 18650 in the water 🤢. Sooooooo I have one of these pro units out for delivery today and will be able to provide some feedback in the...

Sometimes you have to notify your card company for international purchases if you aren't UK based. I've had to do this from the states in the past and then the charge is approved.

I'm trying to think of a use case where this would be helpful and I'm thinking hash etc... could you not have slots or holes drilled in the jacket to allow airflow through the holes? Or an air channel (or two or three) where there is a v-shape cut or something similar in the body of the jacket...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

I've read nearly every post in this thread over the last 18 months and did a search and I cannot find if it's been discussed, so I'm just going to ask out of ignorance and curiosity... I've seen mention of mixing different size balls but it's always been the same type... can you mix SiC and...

Yeah I was wondering how certain people were getting them when I bought mine in November and haven't been offered any updates anything. Not that I care that much, as I said in my review the VI is consistent and I have it dialed in so I have had no issues wanting me to push for something and was...
