I never even take the screens off. I just put some ever clear on a qtip and clean the screens. takes just a couple of seconds.

as a general rule, I grind a grind similar to all the ones that I use with my vaporizers, which is slightly more coarse than pepper. I also used to fill the bowl and then tap the bottom of the bowl on a table to "settle" the stuff. I now will actually take my thumb and ever so slightly pack it...

This is going to sound silly, but I thought my fan was not working. It did not seem to be filling the bag quickly. I cleaned the screen on the magnetic bowl and problem solved. so maybe look at that?
