    Arizer Solo 3

I thought that I would find it too hot over 200c but it seems OK to me. @TigoleBitties turned me onto using the WPA with a dimpled or ball filled J-hook. It makes it very pleasant but I feel a bit like Steam Punk Sherlock Holmes using it.

    Arizer Solo 3

I knocked one off of the table the other day. It fell onto the deck, rolled across and fell six feet onto a concrete slab. And bounced. Absolutely unharmed. If it was any more durable, it would be a cockroach.

I came to that same conclusion. The restriction looks to be the four perimeter air inlets around the bottom of the oven. That said, I find it very satisfying to use.

Use your lungs, not your mouth, to inhale and you should be OK with it. It is not that bad, I find it rather pleasant.

I have never used the TM2 so I can't compare. I think that the restriction comes from the oven air inlet holes, not from the stem. The four inlet holes are smaller than the five holes in a standard XL stem. You can make it worse by jamming in too much of a load, but you can't make it better...

    cloudy tincture

In drink (or distilling) circles this is known as louche or louching. It happens with most anise based liqueurs (anisette, ouzo, Pernod etc).

Like to smoke indoors and not bother others. Looking for advice on choosing a vape.

@Shit Snacks you can smell the leakage. Every time I open the cupboard door I get a whiff of weed. That is what I use for half or whole ounces. My theory is that the lids only really seal well when hot and under pressure (vacuum inside). Yes, I am also an avid canner! For 5g or less, I have...

I have the Venty and the Solo 3. Get the Solo 3, you will like it. The draw restriction on the Solo is the same as the Venty with the airflow set to 1. I perceive the vapour as denser with the Solo, which I enjoy. I usually use them side by side for a long evening session. They are quite...

I was wrong. I got the Sneaky Pete High Flo stems today and they barely make any difference at all. There is a huge difference if you suck on the stems when they are not in the Solo 3. But once inserted (with nothing in them) the increase in airflow seems about 5% at best. I took a closer...

    Angus Enhanced

I only saw Spanish as a subtitle option but then I found Auto under Close Captioning. All good now. Spain... the thought makes me want to go back for another eating tour!

The subtitles are still in Spanish for me. Regardless, it is a useful video. Thank you.

What @TigoleBitties said. Expanding on that: If you put your lips around the oven hole (not on a hot vape!) the airflow is very similar to a Venty. There are only five holes in the screen and if the weed is pushed against some / all of the holes the restriction gets proportionally greater...

    Organization tips?

One of these days, real soon now, I’m going to take a chunk of yellow cedar or walnut and carve out little holes and niches for all of the stuff I use frequently

What is the difference between the Screen carrier for the Glass Stem and the Angus Enhanced Glass Stem Holder Base? Are they one or the other? Do you use them together?

    High IQ Cannabis users

This reminds me of an exchange between W Somerset Maugham (I think) and someone interviewing him. Maugham when asked, "Do you ever ask yourself why you are so smart?" replied "That is not the way the question presents itself".

0.35g is probably pushing it. It would fit, but you will get a lot of draw restriction. Personally, I would not like that. 0.25g is good for low draw restriction, 0.3g will probably be OK. The oven is about the same size as a Venty if that helps. As @bulllee pointed out, keep the herb about...

    Arizer Solo 3

I don’t recall seeing this on the Arizer site, but the solo 3 seems reasonably water resistant. Was at a friends place last night and left all my gear sitting out there n his patio table when we went in for supper. I didn’t realize the lawn watering was going to come on so we ate as the solo got...

Yes, I have a Venti too. I’ve only had the solo three for a week and haven’t used the Venti yet to compare closely. I’m still in the honeymoon phase. I have a water pipe for that too. That works, but I don’t use it anymore. There is a difference in vapour between the two, but it’s pretty minor...

    Need help

The solo three comes with a 14 mm stem to use with a bong. Or a J stem. But I don’t see the need to use the solo three with a water piece. I got mine a few days ago and really like it. It’s definitely in a class along with the Venty.
