It could depending on consistency. I haven't had this happen with shatter but could see it happening with thinner concentrates and waxes. Lately I've been unscrewing the battery and sticking it in the glove box, as hot car temps may not be great for the battery & circuits.

To get rid of it I had to do a fair amount of light torching on the side of the cart with it held upright..and that heated paperclip may help push down any stuck bits...

Thanks for the history and sorry your other versions gave you trouble, but this doesn't seem to reflect the product on sale. v2.5 is an updated product from 1 and 2, I'm still using stock parts after 5 months of daily use. Both our experiences are anecdotal but the v2.5 is the current model.
