    Discontinued herbalAire

BTW, is there any reason not to purchase one of the $170 units off of ebay? Is it a similar situation to the cheap extremes on the market?

Traditionally, before cannabis was cultivated (and smokable raw), the method of choice was finger hash. You just take a ton of wild cannabis and roll the buds between your fingers, and after a while you've got hash and it's just a matter of getting it off your figners

    The Toasty Top

I've been putting far too much effort in to this... I dropped my hash in ithe aromatherapy cup, let it soften up for a few minutes, then just pulverized it, tiny little particles. Earwax (stable hash oil) i'm just mixing in with my ground bud until there is no actually exposed stickiness; i...

    The Toasty Top

Yes, I've already adapted, by buying a vape with better convection and using tubes with higher quality screens. I've been vaping with wax this evening, and all of my screens look perfectly new. My Toasty stems, and the one from Ed anyway. The rest, my zap tubes, are unusable until I get the...

    The Toasty Top

I'm pretty hard on my equipment-- I like to mix kief, finely ground hash, and even earwax in with my vape loads. I'm pretty careful, placing a small layer of untainted bud on the screen, but I still can clog a screen like none other. But my wood stem from Ed is fine, as is all my nice SS stuff...

Cause you're a light user? I probably consume seven times more than you. Also, PD uses different screens than the Zap. Screens more similar to the TT actually. My stem from Ed is a hell of a lot easier to clean. Your skepticism is bordering on troll levels. Also-- Just got in my replacement...

    The Toasty Top

I just got to test out the unscrewing stems-- Before today the screens were cleared with a quick blow, but this time there was a bit too much residue around the edges. I just unscrewed it and swept around with a tiny brush (the one that comes with the LB). Screen is as good as new! At the...

    E-Cigarette (not for THC use)

yeah, where did you get that stem? That's fucking nuts. Great piece btw. And VW: How did you connect the atomizer connection? The whole no wires thing really threw me

    Discontinued Epicvape EV-1/EV-2

would it be fair to compare the epic to a wooden v-tower with fixed/boost temp and tighter airflow?

Ed's TnT Wooden Vapor Tubes & Vapor Stems

I would be interested in a tube for the Topsy Turvy (TT, whatever it's called, That Thing i own) if you feel like doing a beta run. You wouldn't have to bother with the stem even. Just the wooden tube would be perfect. No notches or anything, just a slight inner taper of roughly 1mm. It's like...

    The Toasty Top

Just noticed that my wood vapor tube is cracked, longitudinally, following the grain, a bit more than 1cm long, from the base. It's still working fine but this might be a problem with the wood tubes. And I will probably have to apply some wood glue at some point so ya may as well find a good...

    The ethnobotanical thread

I've always wanted to try Calea Zacatechichi but it's traditionally brewed in a tea, I wonder if vaping would work?

    The Toasty Top

I disagree... If I get fewer hits, they are significantly larger and I get massively baked. Efficiency is less about temperature than the vapor path and convection style. Given the slight wiggle room in the stem, the TT has slightly better convection, too. So it's equal to or better than a zap...

    The Toasty Top

BTW this is perfect for bong rips. Just not right out of the box, cause the vapor tubes are too small-- Which is increasingly one of my favorite things, btw. The tube is not much larger than a cigarette. Feels great in the mouth. You just need a rubber grommet. Home Depot. Or some headshops...

    The Toasty Top

Definitely getting more hits with a bit of care. I've had 2 and a half stems in all and i'm pretty faded. About to eat some food so i can get some work done. I have a radioshack down the street, i'll stop in later to grab a right angle adaptop, thanks alan, BTW I'd say I have an above...

    The Toasty Top

OK, the TT stem bowls are about 1mm longer than those found on the standard plastic tubes that come with the zap. And maybe .5mm larger in diameter. Loading technique-- Suck herb into bowl using tube as straw. Give it a light tap, jam in to the TT. With the zap I try to leave a bit of empty...

    The Toasty Top

stainless steel tubes with unscrewable stems. Big plus. Slightly wider inner diameter of tubes, better (IMO) screen. Same as is used by Ed in his Zap tubes. Thinner wire; less stuff ruining screens. Recessed heating fixture-- No need to worry about that wobbling around ergonomics-- It's really...
