Hey so i got my replacement tops yesterday, and i have a question about the double top i received. It says that its UNPROTECTED. Does this mean that it isnt short proof? and if so then why not?

So are these 3.7v rods(red) going up for purchase or are you sending these out to people who have an sr-71 already or to people who bought a 3.7rod(blue) so that they can do oils as well?

what you want to do is leave it soaking in iso until its clean of oil, because thc is soluble in iso alchohol. then you evap the iso alcohol from the mixture of iso and reclaim and scrape up the leftover reclaim. I usually run the mixture through coffee filter paper to get rid of any impurities...

i was checking the resistance on my iris top as well and switching them over to my regular tops and i still blew my tops, i actually opted not to fire it on the IRIS as i was nervous about blowing that it out and since they arent replacing those at the moment i didnt want to risk having that happen.

you want to be careful even with those hammer tops... i blew mine out yesterday. Are these 3.7v oil rods the very same rods we received when ordering the discounted oil coils/3.7v rod combo? Or are these with a new set up? i have to say the 3.7v oil rod seems more appealing to me than the 7.4v...

yes its 1.6ohmers. i check it on my recently acquired IRIS. EDIT: i just checked my rod placement and it moved down somehow. i went ahead and fixed the rod position and gave it a try on my semi working dual top and it now its a non working dual top. I also had a little bit of oil dripping down...

yeah bro id totally swoop on it. You send in all the parts of the unit itself, except for the teflon pieces, mouthpiece seal and tanks. If you had an even older version and didnt get the teflon replacement pieces then you'll want to send in the older shell and they'll send you the new teflon...
