have either of you tried the herc 3.7v rods on the shorty with the 18350 batt? its pen size with the shorty in terms of length and looks pretty discreet. you might want to look into getting the SS kit if you havent got one already (SS stands for super stealth).

its for 3.7v. it was originally the red rod, but now i guess they've decided to go with black instead. I think they sell them separately from the herc itself over the phone. They're not quite done with their website. The blue rods are available, but the red rods are being beta tested right...

yeah i just wipe mine down with iso and let it dry before using , which only takes a few minutes.

this video shows you the ABV after using it in the sr-71 with oil and without. go to the 18:55 minute mark and you'll see Bob getting the ABV out of the unit and then he zooms in on the ABV. i recommend watching the whole video though when you get a chance, it has a lot of good information...

this post along with the herc booklet is all you need to get this thing running smoothly. That video G posted up earlier and Bob's coil cutting and herb/oil loading vid would make it dummy proof.

well then you should have been a little more hesitant to wash out your herc before finding out where you're oil went, dont you think? i mean being as conservative as you claim to be, seems like something that should have triggered when you went to clean your herc.

i think you should weigh out all your parts, put in some more oil and try to run it. If no go then you should take it apart and weight out all your parts again and find out where your oil went, giving you a clue to what the problem might be? awesome bro, will do! herbs still green guys. taken...
