My gasket came out the other day. I had just packed a bowl and was trying to hit it. I wasn't gettign any visible vapor, and it felt like I had increased airflow. then after 30m of trying to get some vapor I noticed the window, and a rubberband type of thing. Now I have to buy one of these...

I guess I just need more experience with the FF unit.

My one gripe with the FF is that it feels like i'm trying to pull a mac truck through a bendy straw, that is how tight the airflow is. I also seem to have better experiences with moist herb, as opposed to dry.

Since I own a Vtower, I have a mesh basket. It fits perfectly in my FF unit. It helps a lot with even browning.

I was referring to the underside of the top piece, where the air pathways are located.

Using an Arizer basket has definitely made for more even browning. With a mesh screen on top, there is no longer a mess. I am very happy with this purchase and the FF staff.

It probably doesn't help that I need to replace the tubing for my VTE. From a mental perspective, it feels like I would be saving more with the FF. When I have my VTE on for long periods of time, it seems like some of the vapor is lost.

So you are putting the basket in upside down, or are you inserting it, herb-side up? If you are placing the basket upside down (herb facing the heating element,) did you remove the screen from the bottom of the FF chamber?

That Is one idea I have been toying with. I can make a little bit of special butter. I may experiment and see how the ABV handles being in an Arizer basket.

I pretty much went through a quarter of mids in a month using the extreme. That was with smoking everyday after work pretty much. :cool:
