Has anyone tried using glass flowers with buds, or is it not necessary at all? With other portable vapes glass flowers seem to help. Just curious.

Just curious, how's the resell/used market for the Ascent? Are the people that are trying to sell their units able to sell them quickly? Wondering if anyone out there has any feedback on this? I don't see any for sale in the FC classifieds. -bay has about 4, have no idea if they're moving or not.

You might want to take a look at the Haze. It's pretty impressive looking on paper. I'm seriously considering getting one. It's always nice to have a backup. Some people that own both units prefer the Haze.

I think if you feel the need to do 30+ burn outs before you feel safe using the Ascent then the Ascent is not for you. Sell it on -bay, be done with it.

I prefer the glass adaptor for a mouthpiece. It definitely seals some of the air leaks in the air path which produces better hits for me.

Don't get too caught up in what some people claim that the Ascent tastes great. Everybody is different, some people think it tastes great others not so much. I have to admit I much more prefer the taste I get from smoking joints but not the feeling in my chest. Although I don't think the ascent...

I would like to see a single piece spacer/conductor for the bowl. More of a heat conductor than spacer.

My bowl stays pretty white without much more cleaning than dumping it blowing it out. The stem upbove the bowl gets gunked up pretty fast though. The only time I've had any trouble at all cleaning the bowl is when I add kief or wax/oil.

@KeroZen, it sounds like your bowl could be defective. I've owned my unit since 11/2013 and the bowl is still easily cleanable and is white and shiny. Something you might want to check out.

Have you actually tried talking to a Ascent Superior/Supervisor? Explain your ordeal and how you believe they should pay some shipping charges. You can't have a hot head, you need to talk to them politely and logically. You never know what you can get accomplished by just trying to talk things...

Has anybody talked to Davinci about paying the shipping on returned units? I haven't had any problems with my unit but if I had to return it more than one time I would definitely be talking to a Supervisor about free shipping.

Depending on how sensitive you are to the plastic smell it will take a little while for it to completely go away. If you have done plenty of high temp burn offs and you continue to see off gases it might just be from something left in the bowl, just a thought. I have heard about some units that...

I'd try drying your bud more. I've found drier product vapes much better than the moist stuff.
