No rush @stickstones since I couldn't buy it tonight if I wanted to. I'm not dead set on the VapeXhale hydratubes, but they seem to be the most popular and they are affordable. My DHGate water pipe just ain't doin' it.

I've got to go with @biohacker on this one. The Herbalizer is so ridiculously efficient with material that the extra cost will pay for itself pretty quickly. I bought the Volcano Solid Valve kit. It's bowl is HUGE. You'll use a lot more material less efficiently.

That's why you use the Volcano solid valve system on the Herbie ;)

Yes, it emits light, but you can't see it outside of the bowl. Non-standard bulb. It is supposed to last 30 years.

You can ISO-bath your screens. It helps a lot, but you really should have a good supply of fresh brand new screens available as well. They're only about 50 cents a pop anyway.

Do you mean using the solid valve bowl and bag? I use the Herbalizer bowl and solid valve bag out of fear of deforming the plastic.

I wouldn't hold my breath. I asked once a while back and they said no. I've migrated the the Volcano solid valve bag system. Way better in every way with the sole exception you need to hold it down to fill.

For those of you using hydratubes that plug directly into the bowl, are you buying from DHGate? Any models that you would recommend? I have a water pipe where I can connect the hose to it, but it is kinda a pain.

It was originally over $700. Now you can routinely buy it for $500. If you're expecting another price drop anytime soon, you should just look for another vape
