CERA, the wait & gibberish thread

I believe Noah posted as thermovape Noah, not thermovape. At least he had been in the cera thread. Edit: sorry, Noah did post as thermovape

    Sublimator

If it does work as sublimation, it wouldn't be vapor but gas. Vaporizers boil the oils in the bud and suspends them in air in a vaporous state. Sublimation is bypassing a phase shift totally, solid to gas, like dry ice. As it would work here, they would have to reduce the pressure to allow the...

CERA, the wait & gibberish thread

The comment was mostly directed towards one specific customer, and I think part of the reason they posted was to show they were working yesterday, as someone early in the day had suggested they weren't.

D9 = skynet. I never saw it, but I'm assuming this was the plot of ' rise of the machines'

CERA, the wait & gibberish thread

Vapzilla, I think you're right, but I may be mistaken. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if that changes today, with TET posting a pic of an assembled unit in the case over the weekend and all. Maybe I'm just being hopeful. But damn am I starting to get exited, can't wait much longer...

Gear Concentrate accessory questions (Ti, SS, Nails, Dabbers)

Just checked all my ti, two nails and a skillet, no stick to a magnet. Even the cheap adjustable nail from ebay, stamped with the infamous 'made in Usa' on bottom, had no stick. Ti doesn't stick to a magnet. Is it adjustable? I've seen adjustables sold as having a Ti head but a steel shaft.

    Bubble Hash Production

For the set you're using I'd say the 120 would be the better add, if I had to choose between the two.

Discontinued Thermovape Cera (Original thread, closed because of chaos)

Short term, yeah I expect them to perform the same. The reason I don't think it is just for showing off is the proposed life time of the device. If you are going to be using the same core for more than a decade, then you will probably notice a difference. Or if you live on the beach and use it...

Discontinued Thermovape Cera (Original thread, closed because of chaos)

Nails, skillets and dabbers are ti because of ti having a high temp oxidation point. You heat the nail with butane, which burns at 2500°, which is around where ti oxidizes. Steel will oxidize at a lower temp, which is not good; oxidation is to be avoided, that's where a lot of health concerns...

    using a microwave

Not sure, but I can tell you microwaves create heat by oscillating polarity of a molecule. Since thc is non polar, I don't think the microwaves will directly effect them, but they may be affected by the heat created from neighboring molecules. How hot does stuff get in a microwave? Thc...

    The future of vapourizing

The future of cannabis consumption has to be a big factor in the future of vaping. A large shift towards concentrates has taken place, and this directly effects the vaporizer market. If the trend towards hash and oils continue, then the market will shift more so in that direction. As batteries...

CERA, the wait & gibberish thread

Godzilla season is bad this year, I heard there was an outbreak of mechagodzilla. Thats what happens when people don't get their flu shot. And for the Noah stuff, you may be on to something. I'm thinking the illuminati. Or the masons.

For some reason the ceras are all $49.99 on the site right now, both titanium and stainless steal. Edit: well, they just fixed the price. Y'all missed your chance at some serious discount there

    Bubble Hash Production

I'd reccomend adding a 90 micron and a 120 micron bag. 120/90/73 tends to be the good stuff. That stuff looks good but a bit darker than I prefer. I don't like using a drill, its a bit too aggressive for the final product I like, ups your yeild though. A gentle stir with a paddle of some sort...

New MMJ State (MA) What to Expect? Find Dr?

There was a story on my google news page yesterday, the headline was 'cannamed opens, booked through the end of February." So, they're probably just busy as hell. If you are really desperate, the integr8 office in Portland, Maine has a Massachusetts certified doctor who can give you a...

    Edibles with bad herb

If you made an oil first then cooked that it would cut down a lot of the taste in the edibles. A simple Iso oil, the oil can be a bit more grimy and green for edibles, as long as it is fully purged its good to cook with.

    Tek Spiderman's Oil Extravaganza!

As far as chlorophyll goes, it is the alcohol that strips it, not the water. Chlorophyll has both polar and non-polar parts, so semi polar solvents, like alcohols, are best for stripping it. Chlorophyll has a non-polar tail ring that makes it hard to dissolve in water, but it has a polar ring in...

    Tek Spiderman's Oil Extravaganza!

Iso has a lower 'solvency' than butane, and becomes more viscous the colder it gets (wikipedia says at -70°c its like maple syrup). In as much it is more beneficial, a lot more, to have the temp of the Iso down than is to be gained from the low temp of butane. Problem is, you get less with...
