As @eyevape alluded to, temp stepping gets a lot of the terps that cause coughing into you at lower temperatures. I usually use 180c then 198c then 210c to clear the bowl. That greatly reduces coughing, give or take greedy episodes. Going straight to 210c requires more restraint to avoid...

I will go with no. I use both a Venty and a Solo 3 daily and both make me cough. It is not the heat, it is the terps. And being a little greedy on some inhales. I never learn.
