I also prefer the direct tube for native massive hits and dense clouds. (+ SCU, cap airflow 2/3 closed, carb on "direct by pass" but closed with my finger).

I did the same, I set it too low in the IH. I changed the position following Brenyo's recommendations, increased the temp on the Wand and got good results. Thanks for your advices guys. About the mouthpiece, i use the direct tube, SCU and fixed mp.

for my part, I say that I haven't yet found the ideal technique because I often find that the top of the bowl (near the beads) is well toasted, even too much so, and the bottom is not always well roasted (it's still a little greasy).

I never liked to re-heat a bowl with butane vapes. One bowl = one heat. I haven't yet mastered the tempest technique.

This Tempest puzzles me sometimes. I must say I love it, but I find it hard to get consistent results. With the Wand, it's going pretty well, I've got my set-up and I'm able to repeat things consistently. The other day, I took it them on the way out and then everything went wrong, my setting...

i'm also using the Vestratto stem with Xl mouthpiece, 2 mini spirals (vestratto) and 1 more spiral from Dynabox (in 3mm diameter) in the integrated stem. This is my favorite way to use the Anvil.

i remove the helix tube replaced by the direct tibe. The SCU stayed in place. yes sir. The final touch could be the leather parchment case Agree. This is impressive and interesting.

Well, I changed the tube and modified my settings a little : direct tube, matrix airflow 2/3 closed, bypass mode (but closed by my finger). The device is indeed getting much cooler...and the clouds are much more massive and dense. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, it saved me a lot...
