Both are great if you get the capsule set with the capsule system (=4 bowls pre-loaded). I have both and they are easy to handle on the go, but it depends a little on your preferences afterwards (personally I'm more of a fixed bowl like on the FW7 than a capsule).

Personally, I removed the spiral tube and replaced it with the direct tube, and the unit doesn't get as hot after that.

Imo, The Anvil was designed to kill a bowl in 1 heating session. I heat the copper ring up to the 2nd click with a powerful 1-flame torch (Ronx) for massive hits. There are differences depending on the bowl chosen.
