Makes sense since the o-ring will not allow any air to pass through between the PNP ridge and the glass gong so all the air will be going through the bullet and heating chamber.

JK, hope it fixes your issue too. The bubbler had a rough surface letting way too much air pass.

My friend had an issue with the exact same gong. He had had to stretch a thin silicone tube around the gong in order to make a air tight seal with bubbler. Maybe his issue is common?
