@ Engineering, I hope a black female gong will be available for the PNP. Please keep in mind that many small bubblers are equipped with male ends. There is a female glass gong available for Solo so anything is possible.

I think BB does mean higher voltage. BB, are you able to confirm the Voltage drop and Current draw for both PNP off charge state and on while plugged in? I believe the PNP bypasses the battery when it is on and plugged in. I don't think it is charging the battery and powering the unit while...

What kind of charger are you using? What is the USB charger? If you're not supplying the correct voltage and current, then this could be the root cause.

@ PP, Typically 12VDC car chargers contain a fuse also, which is located right behind the spring loaded contact pin. This might be quick fix, otherwise you're SOL.

@ PP, Did you confirm ta another charger works? i.e.your car cellphone charger? It could be the fuse for the 12VDC cigarette lighter. I've gone though a few uses for a couple of my cigarette lighters by pushing the limits on them.
