    Discontinued Thermovape Cera

How much different does it look? I though TV were keeping the liquid and concentrate cores separate. I would recommend calling or emailing the company to ask.

Discontinued The Persei Vaporizer for herbs and concentrates.

I know for a fact you can get a ceramic cup with a kanthal wire imbedded in it. The wire could be spiral shaped like the cup so it heats up evenly. This design could be awesome

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

Thanks for the suggestion, looks like I'll need to pick up some new wire soon. Maybe even a new rba, I find that I'm being limited by the placement of the posts...

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

Ok guys so I got it together and it's working pretty well. Flavor and vapor is ok, but I feel it could be better. I think the kanthal ribbon is the weak point. I want to experiment with a thicker round wire maybe. Another thing I want to try is inserting some type of solid ceramic rod or even...

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

OK I see. Why not just use a thicker wire? Whatever thermovape cera uses for a heating wire, it produces great flavor, its also very thick in gauge so maybe that contributes. Thicker vapor is more satisfying...

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

I don't get it either, maybe they just enjoy blowing out huge clouds of vapor? I'd be scared to get a huge hit of nicotine, talk about a headache!

They're solid. Basically a wire, with solid ceramic encased over the wire. The wire heats up and transfers heat to the ceramic, essentially they both heat up at the same time. I'd like to try one too, but only when they increase resistance.

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

So I was in the process of wrapping a coil and I got this far until there was a disaster. I am excited to try out this design though. This shape fitted better in my Igo l than a round shape.

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

This is what the thermovape cera looks like inside. Its very similar to the revolution except bigger. Basically it uses a solid ceramic rod with a coil wrapped around it. The coil/rod is placed inside a stack of porous ceramic donuts. The design works extremely well, the only downside is that it...

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

I'm making my own and its much easier to prototype. You just need a source for ceramic. Here's some from the silver surfer guys. Get the white in the largest size http://silversurfervap.com/ceramic-flavor-disc.html# You can use a dremel to shape them, they're a little too big for rbas as they...

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

That's a good idea, I think I'll try that. I'll report back. So far I've also tried a dumb bell shape with a coil in the middle. Ended up getting too hot. Not a good design.

I actually ordered an igo-w top cap for that very reason because it has dual air holes. But even with two, it's still quite tight. I might end up drilling it out more later on. kidneypuncher.com actually sells top caps of igo-l and igo-w that have predrilled holes if you don't want to mess with it.

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

that bd13 on the right is exactly what I'm using. There's one guy who started calling it that because he was going to start marketing them but that never worked out. Here's the massive thread where you'll find people cutting up ceramic blocks and shaping them to fit their RBAs. People who use...

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

This is definitely a legitimate concern. To reduce dust while cutting, I kept the ceramic wet with water. Rewetting after each cut. After cutting, it's very important to clean it thoroughly, multiple times with each cleaning method. This vape that I made is no doubt DIY, but I have confidence...

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

Alright guys, I said I would build it, and build I did. This was my first RBA build and I'm surprised it actually worked and had amazing clean flavor from the start. Here's what I did: 1) cutting and shaping the ceramic with my dremel tool. 2) soak ceramic in lemon juice for ~20min. boil in...

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

In the process of building my own, here's the rundown: 18350 AW IMR driven Caravela clone with an igo-l rba, igo-w top cap drilled out, .8mm kanthal ribbon contact coil inside a porous ceramic wick. The wick will be shaped like a cylinder with a hole in the middle for the coil to go inside. It...

Discontinued The Persei Vaporizer for herbs and concentrates.

I'm liking these reviews, keep em coming! One question, for people who have used both original kiss carts and ti kiss carts, can you tell any difference in taste? I think I want an.. okeanos, it just looks so cool. A portable 18350 driven device water filtered through stainless steel and glass...

Try removing the mouthpiece/top cap by pulling straight out and slightly twisting it clockwise. If you turn the mouthpiece counterclockwise then the cart will unscrew in the mouthpiece.

I thought the price point was going to be less than the cera, not more.
