Naw, I just get into trouble a lot and try to remember what got me out....... Thanks for the good word, clean the stem then get back to enjoying it? OF

Your problem is most surely the rubber gasket 'binding' since the cap is too tight. Don't use the flats as a handle, they will break off. Instead I suggest wrapping two rubber bands around it, one on the glass, one on the 'thread part' of the cap. That will improve your grip enough probably...

Amen to that on both counts. Perhaps the 'best first post ever'? I'm looking forward to post number two from our new found companion........ OF

It will get there I'm sure, although the wait can fill a guy with stress for sure. Backsliding into blazing is not a good plan IMO. Well worth avoiding. The very reason you need a backup vape (also nice for an occasional change of pace). I agree with the 'sell the NIB unit you're not going...

Great move, standby for good times. Also plan on 'sending the Pax back to the minors', but don't sell it, everyone needs a backup vape...... OF

How did you first learn FC existed? What brought you here?

There's a great old joke Bennet Cerf joke about the young couple on their honeymoon is the Southwest. They see a sign for an upcoming Indian Reservation, 'See the old man that never forgets'. So they ask the locals and are told about a very old Indian that claims to never forget anything, so...

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

I think I might actually be innocent this time? While I've used toothpaste for cleaning (sometimes even my teeth.....) I'd be a little concerned you can't rinse it clean out of Ascent? Since I haven't tried it, I would not recommend it. OTOH, it might give the unit 'a fresh, mint taste that...

    Vaping in movie theaters

It should be cooler on the outside than the inside? And inside is supposed to not get hot enough to combust, right? If it does start to smolder it's easy enough to slip off I'd think. One thing sure it's going to be harder to remain inconspicuous in a dark theater waving a flaming vape around...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Here's my suggestion for a starting point on baffles for the intake. Cut a strip of 'cardboard box' say 1.5 inches by two. You want the corrugated fiberboard type, with the solid covers over a corrugated center. Then strip off one face so you have the corrugated part on one side, facing on...

I seriously doubt it, there's just not enough mass of hot to support the hit. GH depends on dynamically replacing the heat as it's drawn off......It has to be on to do that. OF

Please excuse my ignorance, what is "DMT"? TIA Yes, there is a lot of differences in key areas. I cannot recommend the coil unless you plan to use it exclusively in a WT. Having to point a lighter at your face from 3 inches out and below eye level is not a good way to learn....... OF

    Discontinued Elevape SV

You're welcome, and it's certainly your call, but as you might have just seen in Marduks update, you're basically alone in this problem???? Unfortunately, something is amiss. Not your problem to solve from one POV. However, that defective unit you have gathering dust is still under...

Sorry you're having trouble with yours, but I can assure you the two I own work just fine although one had to go it to get the software upgraded, which was fast and effective and reported here. There are probably over 100 posts of happy owners in thread? At least some of us are real...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

I doubt it, that would, I think mean making a custom PCB and increase the cost. I suspect protection functions are built into the GH itself. Besides the protection boards are there to protect the battery basically, they can still 'melt down' from some failures. I see no reason to think it's...

Hopefully venting is part of the design, it's a well known issue, other vapes seem to be on board with it. Ultralife might be low end, but the potential is a function of the technology, all such batteries have this potential. If you look under the positive terminal you can usually see the...

I disagree, when current flows, things get hot. Unless the currents are very small (which they're not) or we have very heavy conductors made of low resistance materials (which we don't). Yes, it's a matter of degrees (that one never gets old......). It's often too small to notice casually...
