The Hercules works ok with herbs, but its main function is oil, the Bender is better, but still you have to learn to pulse the button. None of the herbal options we have are temp controlled. It is more user controlled.

currently the tips come in a pack. As for the sr74, it will vaporize more oil then the cartridge, but its going to waste your oil. You just get bigger hits.
