What glass rod? If it is the ceramic rod your talking about just soak it in ISO for an hour or 2 it should help loosening it up. Then gently push it out.

I must say testing the Kiss Alpha C is a messy business. Good thing i have something called a Kiss Core to mess with. Oh well testing is a bitch i swe.....................

What is left behind is going to be gunk that is no longer needed, after a while it will just vaporize the needed parts from the oil and just leave a black gooey mess that you can torch clean.

You can have two assembled that's ok but what I'm saying is different, you would need two complete sr74x stainless parts including the bottom assembly plate. Not the bottom adapter, these two are different.

The 74x does not come with the bottom assembly plate as that's needed to have a fully working Herc. That's why only way is swap out top part.
