I dont understand how removing the parchment paper increases quality? Does parchment contaminate concentrate? I'd think it would just make collection messier. What am I missing?

Just received mine, did a breakdown of the heatsink to look for changes, did see some poor anodizing (?) on the inside of the heatsink... I am guessing annodize was the method used? It looks like there is some poor coverage as it goes deeper, and there are a few bubbles that look like they...

Eds craftsmanship stands up to time, and against anything available on the market today. I have some older stems that are simply beautiful and shine just like the day they were turned. Be sure to grab some Ass Butter, it really keeps the shine fresh.
