That's silicone, how about that PTFE sheet they make? Good for KX and ISO?

I'd say do as @2clicker suggested and go with the skunkpharm instructions for QWET...so I'd say about 2.5 to 3 minute wash (and honestly, just look back at what @063_XOBX did with his QWKX run...and those pics....mmmhmmm, golden goodness :whoa:). It seems the KX magic comes with how clean it...

@farscaper you're right, that doesn't look very efficient for getting any kind of volume. Does it work? Yes, but, not for what we're looking for.

@2clicker I see that the ptfe roll is 100% resistant to non-polar solvents. Iso and EtOH are both polar aren't they? So you have seen no problems purging/evaporating with the low heat using this? I will admit, I am getting tired of scraping.

@farscaper so you are going to build that oilextech gadget yourself? Vague is an understatement, lol. I can't figure out what the thing is made up (I do know the microwave part).

Grrr, broke my two, two quart pyrex measuring cups last night...my stupid, impatient ass; they were stuck together (probably from residual oil), so I started pulling on them and then eventually banging them and bam! Moral, I should've tried a little iso on them. But, I did manage to evap two...

Awesome! And please post your tek too if you could. I just got 2 gallons of 99.8iso and will be ordering Kleen soon to try some experiments...in the meantime, I will do my first 99.8iso quick wash this weekend, I may not evap though as I still have some from the last 91iso run that needs...

^^^^^I thought about doing that near the beginning of this thread, lol, but I didn't want to be the one! And, I hope I wasn't the first to call it KleenX for short! Edit: I went back and checked and it looks like @mephisto was the first to call it KleenX, although I know I soon followed suit...

Heh, even though I'm new here, you're right @Caligula, I'm very surprised @herbivore21 hasn't popped in. He is the strongest, most avid proponent/defender of using alcohol instead of butane...this is right up his alley.
