My temps were spot on (within 2-3*) when I last checked. Either your measuring instruments are off, or your temps are just out of calibration. If the later and you know your temp variation, simply accommodate for the variation and you should be able to dial in some consistent results. @mega~...

My early unit is still going strong! Loving the form, function, and of course the effect. The only gripe I have is cleaning the lid. It sure would be more convenient if the air path was wide enough to fit q-tips... Without being able to fit, soaking is really the only method for cleaning.

Switch, Peak and others... They are all devices. Not to sound harsh, but they are kinda like refined vape pens on steroids with water. I consider the Rio as a traditional torch dab rig, miniaturized. Nothing else like it.

LOL I love it! To all concentrate users reading this thread: GO GET A RIO!!! Absolutely right, the case/package/plugs/etc - really bring it to the next level. Cleaning is easier than any rig I own. I ALWAYS give a quick clean at the end of the day, and leave the rig in clean travel...

I know a lot of folks, including myself, store concentrates in the fridge or freezer. I am curious, do any of you find there is any difference in flavor if you allow your concentrate to reach room temperature versus dabbing cold?

I press even lower. I really dig 170-175*... some at 165 (I have not gone lower).

I dig the stock glass, minimal diffusion, small chamber, lots of flavor- important for flavor chasing cold-starts. They are offering glass options, but it is limited to color selection.
