I'm currently using a V1 Persei chrome top on my polished 8 mini tube for my 3.7v globes. The V1 top not only works flawlessly and colors match almost perfect, the persei logo lines up with the 8 logo perfectly! :science:

Try ISO soaking it then pushing the coil out with a small paperclip through the 3 air holes on the bottom. Just keep going around, poking all 3 air flow holes. That should work it out of there slowly. Then the rod should pull right out.
