Seconds on the dry part. And at least moderately packed. Allow time for the heat to recover between hits. But, in the end, it's still a portable limited in performance by available power. It should (and almost always does) do a great job making vapor, but at a rate that doesn't suit many...

Thanks for the wave off. I read it as 'if you are happy with DT, you will find faults'? At least you got the lesson at a reduced price......... Such opinions (backed up well) are very useful IMO. One of the chief functions of the Forum IMO. Thanks again, it makes sense to me as described...

By 'with the eLeaf' I assume you mean the TC40W in VW mode? Makes sense if my 'too cold' theory is right. If, however, you mean the eLeaf TC100W you should get identical results in TC mode as with the Pico, VTC Mini, Cuboid, RX200 and all the rest of this new breed of TC mods using TCR to...

And a properly paranoid vaporist has a backup for his backup, right? Many years ago I recall reading about a 'secret' WC Fields house uncovered after his death that had 1100 cases of gin stashed in the attic in case he was ever stuck in town and needed a drink...... The article said he had a...

Sounds like you're mostly there then, just too cold? No concentrate I know is going to give much under 300F. I'd try running the temperature up a bit and see if that suits you but I wouldn't expect much under 350F, IMO 390 is just getting started for the tastes of some/many. Keep an eye on...

You can get them other places, of course. I bought the last batch at a local Korean Market. It says I paid $1.39 for them......that was a while back (I use cheap Bamboo toothpicks for mixing epoxy and stuff since they tend to be stronger and don't 'just snap') but they still work just fine. OF

One of my very favorite tools as well. But, as you say, they have to be good quality. In fact my favorite ones are the 'Japanese style' (only one point). Like these...

Sounds like a good tip on an easy experiment for those who have the part. However, the same experiment can very easily be done with tape. Like 'Scotch tape'. Or ends of toothpicks. I think I'm safe saying all (certainly most) of us that tried this idea (plugging holes) came back to the...

While it's not so big a deal to me with Solo, the cover sticking out so far with Air was. It kept getting in the way and/or hanging up on stuff.....didn't last long. OF

You can easily buy them new, Amazon for instance: https://www.amazon.com/Dozen-Yellow-Corn-Cob-Holders/dp/B012894YBQ/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1466830276&sr=8-4&keywords=corn+on+the+cob+holder Nine bucks is a bit pricey, but they are SS pins and it does come with 23 spares.......... OF

So true. Then again, with this global community folks keep telling me we live in doesn't that mean we really have a 4:20 somewhere once an hour? So, if you factor in 'California Casual' where it's perfectly OK (in fact expected in some cases) to be half an hour early or late......... A...

Nonsense. A combination of blind luck and many 'learning experiences' I can assure you. You were fastest with the right answer. Why wasn't asked. IMO full points........ If I could I'd sure ask what's going on. There might be an acceptable answer, although I can't think of one off hand...

I agree, fully discharged is a big old red flag to me. How/why did this happen? They should live happily many years at 2/3 charge or so, basically no self discharge. Perhaps the protection PCB is 'sub par' and/or the packs are very old? Or worse still, they were subjected to excessive heat...

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

You might have, 375 is the default, try it again with say 400? And you do it off, not on. I run 390F, it's what came up. Seven seconds pressing on the only 3 you can and keep it off (the 3 on front) and the next time it came up 375. No indication at all. OF

You should be able to do a pretty good job if you're careful and a bit handy by nature. There's a video out there of 'making the Vapman' that shows the step. As understand it a 1mm pin with shoulder necking down to .8mm catches a lip inside the tubes 'high up' and supports the bore of the tube...

Closer, but still not practical? If the OP is resourceful he might be able to stake the tubes back in (it doesn't have to be perfect like when new) otherwise it may be time to put the VM out to pasture after solid service and buy it's replacement? That way you only have to deal with shipping...

I think they can definitely die. No, make that know it's possible. However I think most times they're abandoned somewhere along the 'getting lame' path? As you get less and less runtime (use per charge) eventually you figure it's no longer worth it. So, yes, what an owner might call dead is...

Very well put. "Not prohibited" is not the same as 'outta do' sometimes. "Use while charging also leads to having it 100% charged almost all the time......very hard on batteries. OF

No, you're welcome to make one or many. How are your electrical skills? Are you up to making it on perf board like the one in the top half here (one of the prototypes): Otherwise, you can order some more boards, a set of nine was about $75 (expensive because of small run size and rush...
