Thank you!
I just weighed the load from the photo and it came back at .33g
Seems like I took around seven doobie style draws in two heat-ups, using a single jet torch lighter. I didn't find it necesarry to inhale for a long time to produce vapor, and the vapor was deceptively smooth for such...
Gettin' Inverted on this fine weekend with a 1:1 blend of locally grown GSC and indoor Hawaiian Haze CBD.
:bigleaf:
Hope everyone following along is feeling real nice inna irie state of mind!
Came up with a new prototype yesterday for a handheld, glass convection vaporizer. Think Dynavap...
I agree, and here's a random wake & bake analogy.
I frequently cook with cast iron. A properly heat saturated cast iron pan will be so hot you can't even touch the handle. BUT, if I try to rush the heatup, I can set the burner so high that the bottom of the pan will be smoking while the rest of...
Absolutely, I’ve actually been through this myself and have done a small bit of research on this, it’s fairly common and tends to come out of nowhere for regular cannabis users.
Try an internet search with the phrase “can’t handle weed anymore” and you might be surprised to see how many regular...
I believe the term bubble hash refers to sieved trichomes looking like bubbles.
Bubbleman is well known for his macro photography of such.
Also called water hash, ice wax, melt, beach sand, grease, headies. Probably more that I'm forgetting.
Definitely.
Oils are cleaner which is why you can vape a whole gram of them in a cartridge without cleaning anything. With waxy concentrates and a load as you go wax pen you’ll want to clean or top up often.
There’s a lot of variables but You’re probably just taking the load further than some folks. we used to see the same reports with the Glass Symphony where some ran it at 1000F and others ran at 650F.
Good point, that's a real issue I've had with my 10mm flavor saver minitubes.
The dial has steps 2-8 and the website lists 200-800F degrees, so I'm assuming 100F steps.
Are you planning to use it as a home rig or portable?
Let us know what you think of it!
I like the Pax Era a lot, it was probably my favorite vaporizer of all time while it was my daily driver. I was just thinking about grabbing a live resin sauce pod for it the other day as I haven't touched it in almost a year.
I actually like the Era a lot more than 510 carts and I wrote a...
I had a few concepts for my vape using a ceramic rod heater: IMO the issue I see with this is your heater is not going to make much contact within the actual air path which is going to make for a small “hot zone.”
The best carts will use the exact same live sauce as you would dab. There is a very big difference between a top tier cart produced by a cutting edge processor and the generic distilled ones. You’ll know you have one when you think to yourself “holy shit, this is basically a dab rig in my...
It depends on the starting material quality, the genetics, and the extraction process/es used.
I like to get the cleanest concentrates with the lowest THC %. The most “full spectrum” cartridges will be undiluted with THC in the 50-60% range. I feel like this is often misunderstood, which leads...
It will handle “bowl topper” concentrates within regular flower vaping temps. Hand pressed some dry sift into some nice hash flags the other day. I just vaped a bowl with a bit of CBD concentrate on top and am feeling real good. I haven’t tried any concentrate pads in here but I’m sure they...
