    The Official CannaBreak Thread

Damn, that might be the highest I’ve ever heard, not to put you on the spot but that’s almost an ounce a day in equivalent flower. How much flower are you vaping per day right now? Know what you mean about the muted effects, been vaping so frequently this year from everything going on that it’s...

    Discontinued Terp Torch

Pretty cool, I had a few soldering iron vape designs but they were all glass. This will probably be a popular Vapcap upgrade since it looks like a Dynavap and Simrell is advertising it. Not sure how much it’s really been tested because in the IG video the guy said it gets hotspots that won’t...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Really appreciate you taking the time to chime in! This feedback is crucial and I definitely welcome these discussions, I want to build honestly great vaporizers so I’m glad we have this forum here to this. I definitely plan to offer them pre-fitted to make it easy, it just sucks I don’t have...

Post-Processing Rosin - Your wish, after the squish

Are you using ultra high grade hash rosin or flower? You want to use the best of the best hash rosin to make cartridges so it vapes cleanly.

DIY Elev8r with coil and glass beads.

Just remember that it takes much more time to heat up something with a coil than a torch, expect at least a 5 minute heat up time with that. Also these glass adapters tend to fail when torched, Ive made a bunch of these sort of vapes.

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Thank you! Yes that’s exactly right; Or, the coil arm could stay on top like the current version, and I could keep the 20mm coil, just switching to this multi holed air inlet style. Smaller spheres increase surface area quite considerably - I tried 2mm in my 14mm torch vape and it was super...

Sapphire and Ruby inserts for bangers

Likewise since it's not hermetically sealed, air is always present. You would have to displace that space with something else, or in the case of insulated windows as you mentioned, remove air with a vacuum. For example: we wear sweatshirts for insulation, but they don't require a hermetic seal...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

So after a little time to think, based on the amount of fracture I think I actually cracked it the first time I heard a "bad sound," and just couldn't see it yet since the vape was sitting in the coil; and my second squeeze of the pliers must have been the death blow. SO how did this happen? I...

Sapphire and Ruby inserts for bangers

It's no theory, I've talked to @biohacker about this at length recently. Basically that gap of air is insulative, just like a double walled stainless steel cup - inhibiting heat transfer from the sidewalls of the banger into the sidewalls of the insert. This means the insert ends up heating...

    Concentrate device for daily use.

The Peak uses essentially the same ceramic heater as the Arizer portables which is ridiculously reliable in the Arizer devices, typically running for 10-20+ minutes at a time. That said, some people have very reliable Peaks that work for a long time before failure so it seems to be pretty...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Hmmmmm.... so don’t try to tighten your coil while the vape is attached....... my pliers slipped................... and....... Needless to say I am literally crushed.... 😂 I don’t believe a moment of silence is appropriate here, if we could all just join hands and yell out one extra loud FUCK...

    Gear D-nail thread

I’ve actually been wanting a sapphire nimbus quite a bit.... Thermodynamically speaking the Halo/Nimbus is still the best enail design on the market with the directly heated dish for the fastest response of any enail, particularly for uptemps. I just don’t jive with the Ti base, I wish they...

    Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

If you heated the jar continuously the bubbles were probably from decarboxylation. Realistically it’s a combination of decarb, air/oxidation, and terpene/moisture loss. Heating with the lid on causes essential oils to vaporize and condense which builds pressure in the jar, which is where you see...

    These heating technologies are used?

Say the metal cup is recessed from the air path - where would the herb and air go? OP mentioned a Dynavap style principal, in which the herb sits amongst while the metal is doing all the thermal transfer. If you recessed a Dynavap in glass you would basically have an Arizer Air - a glass...

    These heating technologies are used?

Not sure I understand the design, but metal anywhere inside would defeat the all glass goal. Even if you recessed the susceptor out of the air path you’d be relying on induction to provide conduction to power the heater. Thermodynamically speaking the best way to heat a glass vape is with a torch.

    These heating technologies are used?

Everytime I’ve considered induction it seems like the opposite of an all glass path. Induction requires a magnetic metallic susceptor.

    Alpine 2020/2021 - Induction Heater

Wow, sad to say this thread turned out pretty much how I predicted, a near carbon copy of the Carta release. Guess the old saying still rings true, “you get what you pay for” :2c:

Need a vaporizer that does not smell like herb and/or does not smell at all

I would look for a device which allows you to have a faster session. There's a big difference between blowing one good hit out the window and trying to cover up a 12 minute sesh with 35 inhalations. However for what its worth, I tend to find cracking a jar of dank reeks more than actually...
