Not really , please do not listen to the poster above. The stems that are designed for the air have a smaller diameter than the solo stems. You will stretch out the rubber gaskets in the air from using solo stems. Than they will be loose and wobble around eventually possibly causing them to fall...

Try cutting them and than forming it around a pencil eraser to make them fit in the air stem. I use them on my Eq , they go in the elbow.

The domed screens are not made for the Air they are designed for the Extreme Q they sell to put in the end of a 18mm piece of glass. That is why they do not fit. There are several posts on this thread with links to the proper dome screens that will fit your air stems.

Having to much airflow is easily solved by a twist of the Vortex stem. There are 4 holes in the heater and 4 in the stem , twist it and inhale until you feel less airflow, this way the 4 holes of the stem don't match up with the 4 holes in the heater. It's as easy as that , that is the great...
