I have the 186 but no evo. There is 7/8" between the can and inside of the Gong. With an ash catcher in the 186, I measure 1" between the can and the stem of the AC. Edit: I'm sure that may vary from piece to piece given the QC of these import pieces.

Omicron (HVD)does not have an option to run 7.4 v on battery power. 18650 will not fit. The Herc SR-74 will only work with Omicron (HVD) using The Core. The batteries for the Omicron are not powerful enough to run the Herc.
