Oh the v2 must be a bit different from the v1, what I think is happening is the cart died and is shorting out. On the v1 this would make the light stay on for a few seconds but maybe on the v2 it blinks to indicate a short? EDIT: You didn't lose the oil just turn it upside down and heat it.

Are you only using the original 2.4 ohm carts? Try 1.5 ohm carts on the v1 or v2 omicron for faster heat & bigger clouds. :tup:

Wrong thread lol, but it pools because of air bubbles from heating or more likely the airtube got clogged and you sucked too hard. I've found if the cart is hot and all the concentrate is pretty liquid you can suck air from the airtube past the wick and into the oil so that it bubbles up. Some...

You're right that it all comes down to the ratio between the voltage and the resistance, but the voltage also matter a bit more watch: Voltage divided by resistance gives you amperage, but heat produced by a cart depends directly on power so we have to multiply the amps by the voltage again to...

A lot of the shops up here don't carry anything but the 2.4 ohm carts yet... it would be nice if someone prodded them along since they buy in bulk and have good prices

When I get mine I'll do a comparison pic with v2 and the Persei, but yes it is smaller... how much smaller I don't know though. The o-phos/v1 is only a little smaller than the v2 but yeah it is the smallest: (pic by kertong :tup:)

That is what tells me OF is right, if the light comes on that means the cells are charged and working... I'm actually a bit surprised that the v2 doesn't have protection like the v1?

Oh I see, I guess this all depends on what happened to that second 14650. And good to hear! It's always nice to know what happens to your device in worst-case scenarios...

I'm pretty sure he didn't have a fresh cell to try just the two imr's that came with the v2. But we'll have to wait for kertong to sort this all out, hopefully he didn't throw anything away... And ya if I don't get them too low (below 2v, sometimes it happens...) my imr's will become...
