Shootout - Herborizer, Evolutions, Vaporfection, SSV, VRIP, Exteme

If that is the case then I have no problem recommending the DBV to people who are on a budget, or if the prefer GG, you might as well save a few extra dollars. The heating element on the SSV holds it's temp very well and I have been very satisfied with the quality of the hits that I have been...

    extreme in whip mode

I read about the heating element on the 7th floor's website. I didn't do any additional research on it but it sounds to be a very rock solid unit. I think the Extreme has a similar heating unit, hopefully someone can clarify. Just like the girls like taking hits off the PD, I found a lot of...

    Silver Surfer Vaporizer

I'm loving my ssv. Awesome vapor hits that are thick and milky. It is on par with the evolutions unit that it replaced. I got the rainbow colored one which looks mostly black unless the sunshine directly hits it. I really love the look of this machine and it's functionality is also top notch...

    SSV vs. The Extreme Vape

I assume I have the latest generation Extreme. Highest temp is 260 C

Shootout - Herborizer, Evolutions, Vaporfection, SSV, VRIP, Exteme

The wooden box types that I have used are the Vapor Bros and VaporDocs, my friend has a box unit with a digital readout but neither of us know what exact model it is. The SSV definitely outperforms those units in the quality and taste of the vapor it produces. I'm not sure what they use to...

    SSV vs. The Extreme Vape

I'm a believer in the SSV. I am also a believer in the Extreme. Quality wise, the SSV gives better hits but I have noticed I need to use different temps for different herbs. The Extreme is really easy to calibrate and the thickness of the vapor that collects in the bag on the slowest fan...

Shootout - Herborizer, Evolutions, Vaporfection, SSV, VRIP, Exteme

So I had my best session with the SSV yet. I have found the sweet spot for the temperature and am getting very tasty, milky vapor hits. One thing that I really like is that there is not much resistance when taking your draws. The Evolutions unit would take a lot more lung power when taking...

    extreme in whip mode

if they have the same type of heating element what would give one an advantage over the other? Is the ssv design different in a manner that gives it a better air/vapor ratio ? Asides from the angle I don't see much different than the other whip models out there

Shootout - Herborizer, Evolutions, Vaporfection, SSV, VRIP, Exteme

I let the ssv heat up for a few extra minutes and it was hitting well at about 2 I clockish. I'm not ready to say that the ssv hits better than the evolutions unit but it is pretty darn close. I'm sure with more time I will be able to get optimal usage from the ssv.

Shootout - Herborizer, Evolutions, Vaporfection, SSV, VRIP, Exteme

If that's the case, and it fits into the budget, I'd definitely buy the VRIP bowl. Easier to pack the medicine in, better effect, all glass...When the VRIP system first came out, you could download instructions on how to vape without his glass pieces and did mention using screens to hold the...

Shootout - Herborizer, Evolutions, Vaporfection, SSV, VRIP, Exteme

Vtac, I'm going to put in an order for the standard heater cover and wand. Might as well get the full experience. I just took my second hit from the SSV today and again I had to turn it to 3, which is odd because earlier today it was working at 2 o clock. This time I just unplugged it after...

    extreme in whip mode

it's the term that the owner uses to describe fan assisted hits on his YouTube video. Now that I have used the ssv and extreme, it really dies come down to a matter of preference. The vapor qualit in shooter mode is top notch, just not as thick as the ssv. He versatility is something I really...

I'm including a link to the picture of my lineup: http://www.marijuana.com/attachments/vaporizers/3016d1222465588-shootout-herborizer-ssv-extreme-vaporfection-vriptech-evolutions-shootout-shootout1.jpg Vtac, just woke up this morning and vaped a bowl thru the SSV. I turned back the knob to...

Shootout - Herborizer, Evolutions, Vaporfection, SSV, VRIP, Exteme

I've owned an inspector vapor's bowl as well and the VRIPtech bowl just works better. I saw some video on it a few years ago about some "venturi" effect due to the shape of the VRIPtech bowl. I'm not too sure if that plays a factor but I do know that it works extremely well. Most of my casual...

    SSV vs. The Extreme Vape

just curious where you ssv owners have your heater. I have mine turned up to around three oclock. Was wondering where you guys have yours set.

    extreme in whip mode

Shooter is basically the fan assisted whip mode.

    extreme in whip mode

Stickstones, love your avatar btw...yes, screens get clogged in all other whip type vapes but I think since that particular screen on the extreme is small as it is, that really limits the airflow. I've pretty much given up on "vapor on demand" and have been using the shooter or bag option. I'm...

Shootout - Herborizer, Evolutions, Vaporfection, SSV, VRIP, Exteme

Here are my mini reviews, just to put things in perspective, the way I judge vaporizers is based on the quality and tastiness of the vapor first, and convenience second. For example, I use the VRIPtech set up for personal use and the Evolutions unit for when friends come over. The first...

    SSV vs. The Extreme Vape

So if you have a SSV with GG connection, then the smaller hole advantage disappears? I'm asking because you said that the smaller exit hole on the SSV is what affects the air/vapor ratio. I'm assuming they use the same GG for SSV and DBV. I was just curious if the shape of the SSV is the main...
