It should do, though try to use one that is UL listed. A cheap 12V adapter killed my initial charger, though there has been a few changes to the design since. I would recommend using an Xtar MC2. Small but quality portable USB charger. Plugs into the adapter that killed my charger in the car, as...

USB power is insufficient for true pass-thru no matter the source. It is a standards limitation. USB-c might be able to do it in the future

Slick new blue body just arrived. I now have a whole unit in spares and a couple of bodies to return! Not bad for the price :haw: Part of me wishes I bought a blue MP to go with the new body, the scratched and thread-stripped MP fits both working hopper bodies now, the one that replaced it is...

How can I test Chinese glass for lead?

I'm a fan of PBW for cleaning, though strong alcohol is also decent. Soda-lime is just a common type of glass composition, unlike borosilicate it is liable to thermal shock and can shatter from being cooled or heated too quickly. Borosilicate is used in scientific glassware as it has much lower...

How can I test Chinese glass for lead?

Clear glass should be safe, especially once it is cleaned. About the worst you could expect is that it's soda-lime not borosilicate, but even that is less likely these days

I think you're right about the familiarity of fresh herb However I'd just introduced my mum to a shot glass full of ABV the previous day, so now she knows what that nasty stuff smells like. I assume it was a mix of that and the faint lingering of fresh herb/vapour that was detected, but for me...

Two I got for friends have been going strong since August. Plus, on reddit a few people have reported similar and better longevity I've had a good run except for a few times I over alcoholed it. The newer parts have all seemed to be better too. There's no doubt the Grasshopper is a finicky...

How can I test Chinese glass for lead?

Use some acetone to try and dissolve colour away. If you are successful, throw the piece away. If the glass is coloured not painted, it should merely clean it and then it's all good. Paint won't necessarily mean lead, but is undesirable nonetheless. A lead painted rig isn't as bad as it sounds...

That's interesting. Perhaps USPS has changed their regulations for the new year. Let us know what the price comes to with DHL, I paid $10 USD postage for my 5 batteries before

turns out the GH is a bit less stealthy than I thought. Don't expect to use this in an enclosed space (blowing clouds out the open window) and get away with it  Just a heads up, I'm home for holidays and thought I could sneak a low temp bong hit in. Apparently it stunk the room up strongly...

It's quite possible that percentage is not including hoppers destroyed by accidental user error. This latest cleaning how-to blog indicates that cleaning has caused many issues, possibly most. This correlates to my experiences with most possible faults. If it is an actual device failure, a...

That's all they'd have with the latest batch, seeing as they sold out before and get them direct from the manufacturer. I think Vapefiend still has old stock floating, which have older chargers and GHB1s. My 2s are holding up well. One battery saw me through two days for the first time ever...

Local Li-ion restrictions are imposed by AusPOST due to insurance liability with flying Li-ion. Importing batteries happens en masse, and they don't want to add any extras to the equation. AusPOST refuse to air-mail Li-ion for consumers, but will freight them via land/sea. When I had to return...

What was your question? I got some GHB2s sent out late Oct, arrived early Nov. I requested it to be sent in a box, not just bubble wrap (my previous bubble wrapped parcel got chewed to pieces by a conveyor belt [the same day as the Dreamworld disaster :( ]). Shipping took 12 days for the box to...

I have no experience with a PnP, however compared to my EQ desktop, the GH is better at extracting. The ABV is more even and the clouds are bigger and tastier. The principle is dry distillation and the hopper is designed by people who understand the dynamics required to do it efficiently. I am...

I had this issue with my previous plain Ti body. It would work occasionally, but the red lights lingered for ~10s. Points of interest from the warranty ordeal: "Caroline (Hopper Labs) Sept. 26, 2016, 9:47 a.m. Please press and hold the Back End button down. Does the red led turn blue or turn...
