    Dynavap VapCap

I think that would be a hard patent to obtain considering the patent filed for a twisted tape turbulator itself was abandoned decades ago.

One small variation I used to do with the OG in 2016 is you can do the first heatup with an empty bowl, force cool to the click, load, and heat and grab a little better flavor. I guess the 2020M doesn’t bother me much because it reminds me of the OG with better airflow. I just go with the flow...

    Tafée Bowle

@MonkeyTime every time I see a post from you in here it sounds identical to what I experienced. I kept testing it for like a week after I received the RMA label before I finally mailed it in because even though it was intermittently cutting out, sometimes it worked and got me stoned and that...

    USB powered vaporizer

My original statement was mostly in jest, controlling a vape with a USB cable is way outside my skill set, but I do think it could be kind of cool with the right low draw device like I sometimes do with my oil pens. Any kind of external PSU would be kind of a dealbreaker to me though I think...

    vapolaborium. Jaw drop.

In heat transfer there's always a sliding scale between pressure versus performance. To reduce restriction the heat transfer is reduced as well, the trick is finding the right balance between the two for the process conditions. If you really wanted to have fun you could hook a vacuum pump up 😜

If you actually filled the flask the draw restriction would be immense.

    Is reclaim actually worth it?

There's no crystals to separate if it's been decarbed. But the best reclaim is the oil that condenses in the neck of a banger. It's basically distillate, or rosin moonshine, 😋 idk call it what you want 😉 It makes a killer pan of brownies!

    USB powered vaporizer

If you had a USB powered log that you could control the power digitally via a program, like a condenser microphone, that would be pretty sweet. Theoretically you could run a PID algorithm that way, just like configuring Arctic Fox programs. Electrical engineering is out of my wheelhouse but if...

For a really simple approach, In industrial cooling they often just use a coil spring as a turbulator insert.

    USB powered vaporizer

If you can power my desktop off a USB cable, that would be super tight!

First Vaporizer: which according to my preferences? & some question.

Aren't all vapes affected by how much air you pull through them, and how you load the chamber?

First Vaporizer: which according to my preferences? & some question.

Getting bigger hits by heating lower on the cap, effectively "turning up the temperature" is commonplace for nearly all vaporizers. On a Solo you can do the same by pushing the up button. On a VapBong or log you turn the voltage up. On a brick you turn the torch up. In fact the Brick would be...

    Dynavap VapCap

With all models having a built in 10mm WPA, where does the Vong really fit in? Seems like half the folks who want to run through water want no carb/airflow anyways.

First Vaporizer: which according to my preferences? & some question.

Frankly, I would not want to come back to a bowl in either of them. Convection works so much better for that and nobody seems to have been able to convince OP to go that route. OP may have said they like “big rips” but Neither Dyna nor Solo are what I would personally prescribe for “big rips.”...

First Vaporizer: which according to my preferences? & some question.

If OP is going conduction, why not just get a Solo 2 and call it a day? What does a Vapcap + IH genuinely deliver vapor quality wise that a Solo doesn’t? I recently made the observation that the manual nature of the Dynavap is not really ideal for beginners, as it doesn’t necessarily teach best...

Induction Heater MAD Heaters - Innovative Dynavap Accessories

Damn you really went all in on this one. Impressive! I especially dig the box mod style interface. Really nice polished professional looking aesthetic too. This seems like something the community is going to go crazy over ;)

    Phase3 Vaporizers

These days I like to finish a draw and still have enough room to push the vapor to the lungs, lung busters leave a lot of vapor in the esophageal tract which never makes it to the alveoli. It would still be at least as much capacity as the bowls you are used to! That's why I like to leave some...

    Storing concentrate long term

Usually the live resin and rosin is kept in a refrigerator or freezer, but anything sitting on the shelf will have lost some flavor for sure. Definitely good to check the package date on those ones.

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Yeah, coming from the FP I can definitely appreciate the outside heater approach. I didn't really want to use do a female glass joint to get there though either. With this new approach I feel it retains some of the good benefits of each system, so I think it's worth exploring. The joint on the...

    Dynavap VapCap

Cooling the outside cools the inside! You want to remove heat being conducted to the sidewall, this is the principal behind finned tubes, or a heatsink! a side effect would theoretically be more convection, but I'm not sure how it would apply here 🤔
