I use the tool provided with my Ascent vape....it's perfect for getting out that bottom smaller ring especially. The hook end grabs it then you can pull it up and out.

The lid part comes tomorrow with my replacement arrival. Really though, it took just a little spit lube and the glass piece slips into the flexicone no problem.....so I'm surmising at this point that even with the lid introduced into the equation it should in all probability be a non issue...

@Kommyknocker all you needed was a little spit lube my friend. Hermes did do their homework. @mestizo not to worry, your work and design ideas are genius in comparison.

This is exactly what I was going to do......similar to how I use my glass straw now....well, will in two more days when the replacement arrives.

The nipple end of the glass adapter is 8mm which I believe is the width of the cap opening. My interpretation, hopefully correct, is that it will attach to the regular flexicone like the MV mouthpiece does. My hope is that they put as much thought into this as all the other accessories.

I sent the package with tracking info.. I'd say the day after it arrived I got an acknowledgement email with the 72 hr info. Got an email stating my replacement was approved. Got another email saying that black wasn't available but gold and silver were. My UPS Choice notified me of the tracking...

I bought the same thing awhile ago with the Ascent/FireFly in mind and found it to be the same as you. Too damn big and bulky. Great for using throwing in an overnighter or back pack, but a no-go for pocket/jacket. I ended up using the Ascent pouch for a perfect fit. I get protection but no odor...
