And a new day - Happy Friday everyone!
I see that Fluxer has taken to heart some of my more than vocal discussions here. The 'wand' option has been tackled and is in the process of getting available. Check out the Flix!
I did go and read the fine print. Apparently there is a relay in...
The way the Flix is being sold without the brick, the idea of variable power IH just became real  Any marketing thoughts in that direction @mr_cfromcali ?
...oh and if you require a beta tester, I have a couple of openings available
Hmmm... Maybe down to 10.5 volts. Mr...
I was attracted to the style. I certainly don't need one but the price was worth getting a good look at it. Free shipping was a bonus. No PayPal always bugs me but hey, this is life with drop-shipping middle men. In this case, it is the only outlet for now. Again, I am not expecting...
I'm sure the Apollo works perfectly well. I need to figure out why
That pineapple has been associated with the layout of the Apline 2020, yes. Some 3D printed stuff shows up on a search. I'm just not convinced the same entity took on the commercial effort. This I will know more when...
@invertedisdead - Oh no, this is my take on why this video made some new inroads. I don't normally find conspiracy sites on simple searches. That is if you were replying to me :2c:
10 seconds is not a performance metric on how fast an IH can click a VC - it is how long a VC takes to properly bake the bread. Faster heating just makes for doughy dough.
The PSM just needs a cool pouch. @stark1 has a picture of one that just says "Vaping and hunting go hand in hand!" :lmao:
@kenske - The Fluxer is arguably the most compact and best battery life in a portable class. From experimentation, a 3s 18650 is really best for a relaxed charging...
@kenske
To bad they couldn't make the Alpine perfectly cubical @2.5"
So 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.75 = ~17.2 cubic inches = Alpine
66 x 43 x 102 = 2.6 x 1.7 x 4 = 17.7 cubic inches = PSM
PSM will fit better in your pocket.
So yea, appropriately sized.
That ain't happening .
@junny89 - I saw where you saw the June shipping. Nothing warned of that during the sale but I saw it on the reddit page just now.
I'll be cracking it open and I read that same statement. Hell, even gutted it is a cute box. I want to add a switch to it anyway.
There is nothing new with this one. The $99 price-point was the main thing that got me. I wouldn't go full retail for sure.
I have never met a warranty I liked...
Well, @Mono Loco , the site says 1 year warranty if you don't open it up. You know I'll be opening it up  You'll get to see, but it'll probably be $170 by then.
Wait, the new retail pricing shows as $149.99.
@junny89 - And I really appreciate your thinking of me
@Mono Loco This one is worth it... I am licensed to drive a soldering iron :tinfoil:
They're out for mass marketing so I suspect they did their homework. I've seen the genesis of this layout. It isn't a game changer but it is...
Today I went to see if I could find this red switch - I got it at a local electronics surplus store.
They press-fit perfectly into the coil and the plastic housing won't short anything. This is just passively installed.
Turns out these are pretty popular on eBay. Got two orders in with a...
Completely mum on delay. Let's hope for a next weekend delivery. I'll know when I get a shipping notice. Great catch Buddy! You just caught my VAS at the right moment. No hesitation to pull the trigger on 1. I might still do a second if indeed it is coming quickly.
