I'm still having consistantly great results with my ascent. Desktop-esque clouds, great taste, not to hot on the bottom. I think there are just some bugs that need work out is all.

The glass bowl should have spilled over the top around where it's at now. Then the top silicone seal would just seal against glass. That gap would be so small and the screen would be so close. I think that would've worked better. Silicone could've sealed against glass just as well as it does...

I have also been getting my best results evenly packing it with the oil can. Just squeeze it down tight, pop it back out, close it and start at about 385. Because of the glass it holds it's flavor for quite some time compared to some other portables.

I was gonna suggest the pinky tip test as well.

Pappy I'm quite confident that yours is defective. One can know nothing about the ascent and get better results than what your getting. So I have to attribute it to the ascent malfunctioning.

Sticks, remembering your comments from back then is what made me decide to pack TIGHT. It worked wonders and yes cotton would keep the load down but, seems like a bit of an inconvenience.

Yes packing it makes it the conduction vape that it really wants to be! But it's glass conduction which is fine by me cause its quite tasty! If there was a bowl shaped packer tool it'd be badass!!!! That is exactly how I would explain it to someone with the correct pax technique so they would understand me. Spot on my good man.

The real trick is to make sure the herb stays on the bottom of the chamber. I've been at 385 for 10 minutes with .1 g and its still hitting strong!

I don't think I really have any reason to lie. I always pride myself as being a straight shooter. I don't do vids. Pack yours tight and give it a shot.

Yeah I'm gonna recant my wispy vapor statement! Pack HARD! Harder than you think is necessary. And it will produce monstrous clouds from 380ish on up! U just have to open it up a few times a sesh and push the little brick back down.

The vapor is wispier than I had expected. Wayyyy better flavor than the original DV but the cloud production of the original crushes the ascent! Anyone else notice if you draw a little to hard with a small load it gets sucked up against the screen and then stops producing any kind of visible...

@Davinci_vaporizer Mine doesn't look scratched DV. It looks like the film wasn't peeled off and is now starting to peel. Also I had not 1 or 2 or even 3 but 4 corners on the matte black center skin that were pulling away from the body that I had to glue back down.
