I was wondering about that too. Gravity can be a bitch. A foot or so of medical tubing and an extra mouth piece would do the trick. :brow:

I'm confused abit here too. Can we back up and just compare the EVO HV and LV differences. From what I'm reading the LV gives more hits then the HV? Difference in heat up time? I'm I reading this right? Since both are the same in performance should not the 6 V not last longer? I realize the T1...

I thought I'd post a couple more shots to answer some wonderings regarding workmanship and quality parts. The connector material meets Broadcasting Standards as does the actual contact. The contact is from another different audio patch field connector which of course meets Broadcast Standards as...

This is possible but not practical as would be an equation for overheating as the tendency would be to crank r up. Would for sure end up in a burnt out heater cores. Playing with the output can get quite complex at these current levels. Would likely be easier to dick with the input. Really don't...

Cool, thanks. No button, uses the same method as batteries. Adapter is shorter then battery holder allowing the pig tail to hang out. Rear of slider is actually plastic moulding and makes it more comfortable from the heat. The adapter casing is designed for connector application and therefore a...

Quite simple, just put it in the same as you would for batteries but without the sleeve feeding the "pig tail" down through the slot opening. Screw the T1 or REV on and then plug in the pig tail. No fear of been shocked as voltage is too low. Modifications done inside the power block have not...

Sneak peek... Still some testing before putting up for sale. I am also waiting on some beefier DC male plugs for the adapter side. OF, any advise with safety etc.? Would be nice to be able to adjust power on the fly as seems pretty hot after a few hits. I think it is more because of heat build...

With this current draw and the simplicity of the circuit a capacitor would only complicate things. IMO Also, in much searching the 12 VAC or 24 VAC seem to be the easiest to get. Thus, working with CT windings and diodes seem to be the easiest. These are good points. I am in deed using a...

This is actually a very interesting question. I have been experimenting on just how little I can put in and still get reasonable hits. Been trying to match the quantity with a full battery life. Seems about 1/2 full seems to hit the mark for that goal. Also, the lower you go the quicker the herb...

MY PA UPDATE: I found a better power supply which is more suited for the PA adapter I have been using. It is basically a 24 VAC 49 watt transformer with a CT connection for 12 VAC. Whats nice is that it is already installed in a case and only needed small modifications to work. It was...

I too have been having what sounds like this exact problem. It started with a normal REV and would not seem to work. Symptoms sound the same as Darb. Now that particular REV went bad and sent back to TV for replacement. Unfortunately they sent me a LV as the replacement. I am expecting a proper...

Just a little information for any ecig users. There is an alternative from the adapter kit piece. Which I wish I knew about before my initial purchase as now I have the adapter which I don't use. Nice for my arsenale though. Any interest, let me know and will post links to the UltraMax RES plus...

Well, I received my replacement REV. Was checking it out to find LV stamped on the bottom. This means low voltage and was not what the original was. What a let down. :ugh: I just can't win with this order. I have sent an email and will hope for the best. :horse:

I have been using your screen idea for a couple days and it's great. And a pain. In deed it keeps the holes clean. In fact if you can stop yourself from wiping it from the inside they functioned for me right up to the point where I just had to clean do to the ugliness of it. LOL. Just a simple...

I never hide my e-cig. :brow: Best not to hide but have an explanation for what it is. (or could be) Easy for me to say as I do use it for that. Now flying might be a different story. Have fun at the Gardens. :smug:

Did you by any chance get the REV as well? If so you could swap switches as a test. BTW, I found lighter fluid cleans this metal very well. Make sure it is completely gone before trying to fire it up though. Might fire up real good.

Sounds like a good idea for the friction helping to mix. Do you have any concern with scratching the rim of the bowl? Or are you talking just resting the screen on top of herb inside of bowl? Only asking because while I had that key ring agitator in I found it actually rested against the bowl...
