How about some pics of my "hide in plan sight" gear. Key point here is all who know me know I use an e-cig and only a very few know the rest. So this works for me. First what I want to carry with me. Now this is how it opens up. I found using large diameter shrink tubing works great to...

    Iolite vaporiser

This brought tears to my eyes. Thinking about my poor IO sitting lonely in the draw wondering why I forsaked her. She must of felt so abandoned I just had to go pull her out for a long session of apologizing. She was so understanding about my flirting with some new device and performed exactly...

Access to FC via Corp Firewalls

Thanks for the quick reply. They use some pretty cutting edge stuff. The main firewall is McAffy I believe. Got racked over the coals a few years back for playing zoo world...lol they had a stack of papers to show me how many clicks I spent on it a day. :dog: Had auto feed turned on so the...

Access to FC via Corp Firewalls

Hey, something changed today. I was never able to go to fuckcombustion.com from my work as the site name triggers the firewall. Since the new server was introduced a couple months back I discovered using the IP address let me through the firewall. Today that same IP resolves to the...

I have been waiting for confirmation on the REV burn out issues before putting any more out for grabs. I do not want to assume or hope for the best as that is not fair to TV. Will sell discreetly from PMs if purpose is solely for the T1 and if I can grab the necessary parts. If I put anymore on...

    Discontinued ThermoVape

Your quite welcome and glad it's doin the job. I was leaving mine plugged in. Stays a little warm and I checked on it nightly...;) But tend to unplug now as I don't like leaving an open connector lying around even if it's centre contact is hidden. And doesn't hurt to be safe.

Correct, forgot to spin it around. First time using that simulator package. Pretty cool. Of course can't correct stupidity....lol Also, doesn't account for transformer loading or cable resistance neither but gets you on track. Been quiet in this thread. Must mean everyone is enjoying the...

OF is exactly right. As usual. If anyone interested this is the schematic. I changed the input voltage to 148 as in real life I measured 14.8 Volts on output of 10:1 transformer without load. Also, looks like a lot of diodes but really just two sets of bridge rectifiers. And the scope is 20...

To be honest the whole reason this came about was more of a learning tool as I had battery troubles initially. It is definitely great for fine tuning your technique of using the T1. Now I can get easily visible vapor even on the first hit on batteries. Once the falling battery performance as...

Sorry for confusion. The link you gave was 12 V 5 amp which has enough power capable but incorrect voltage. 6 v pushing 30 watts means 5 amps. watts = V X A and V/A = ohms as you stated. Therefore the ohms in theory would be 6/5 or 1.2 ohms. Now when I actually measured mine was 1 ohm. These...

The folks at TV, from my understanding, are working towards solutions for the battery life cycles. One option been the EVO which takes considerable less power. (I'm waiting for a black sleeve to become available myself) In fact they have been very understanding of my device and even supportive...

No pass through. I think he was talking about the PA which I had made up.

No definitely not. If going DC it requires 6 V with 6 amp available. The supply really needs to be designed for 6 VDC out as with 12 V you still need to bring it down to 6, therefore back to heat dissipation problems for the extra. To overcome this I opted for the AC 1/2 wave rectification to...

This be the case there really is only one answer that I can see. IMO. If one coil was broken and making many momentary contacts from vibration etc., the battery would be repetitively surging current. Maybe even in an oscillating fashion. Can see this causing problems with the batteries. Good...

Just thought I'd add to this as I too had battery problems. My initial 6 batteries which I received with my T1 are all history. They work for a very short time only. I have purchase 10 replacements and out of the 10 1 did go tits up after a few days but it died and refuses to take a charge. 1...

There you go. I like rubber whips for the flexibility. You can get the rubber tubing by the foot at those medical care stores or air supply centres. Couple bucks a foot and can do lots with it. ;)
