That seems to be CCG's number one upselling technique. They are probably going in the box broken. By the time it is over you have bought 3 pieces from them when you only wanted one.

That can't be good... I got mine from an Ebay seller. I'm still on the first one. It doesn't get a lot of use. My torch/rig and W9Tech stuff are on the front burner right now.

So, I have an "UpD8". I tried my SR-714 on the 8 and it works with either bottom insulator adaptor 71 or 74. I had to adjust the center pin collars up a little for the 71 adaptor. It will get some heavy use tomorrow. I will report.

I would try wrapping a 5/4 for 7.4v and try it on the 3.7 first to see how it fires. The Ti is a bit different from the NiChrome so I'm not sure yet.

@stroonz I'm not sure but your Omicron looks like a V2. What is the serial number? Does it begin with HVD? Titanium Kiss is fine with the Omicron, either version.

@ED421 for my rebuilds , I use NiChrome 80 wire. For 7.4v, I go 5/4 (over/ under) with 32ga wire. This makes a very hot cart that likes the button to be pulsed. I have used the same gauge wire for 3.7v but the heat-up time is longer. I also use 36 gauge wire for 3.7v. Same number of wraps...

I have a Nitecore D2 charger. I really never need to charge 4 at once so the 2 slot D2 is great. The LCD screen gives all kinds of information also.And for $18.49 the price is right...

IDK about the donut but the rebuild kits do not come with the ceramic cup.
