Also, most sinks have a trap underneath, the curved segment where the drain pipe takes a bend toward the wall. It’s usually easy to access but nasty inside. Your tubing might still be hanging out in the trap. Lower odds than, say, a wedding band but it’s possible and takes five minutes to check.

I admit that the first part of my regimen was getting a BCG— those things just don’t gunk up, tho they’re arguably more gratuitous than using the odd Ziploc and 5¢ of iso. Never had my old cheapies lock up, tho. Maybe bc I only grind a few bowls at a time.

I find soaking in iso a bit gratuitous since you’re really only after a few surfaces. If I’m detailing mine, I’ll brush it out and iso swab the gunky bits. Mostly I just keep refilling it and let the new stuff push out the old stuff, sausage grinder style.

Whenever I do manage to nab a Z, I’ll run it on the Gen3 dual for sure. This one would make a nice novelty for the V2, mostly to try out Red Panda. That said, I’m pretty sure I can dial in a use case for the V2 on the G3D while I wait!
